Weigh everyday since you don't have much to lose. It's easier to tell what's causing the fluctuations. Track your food each day and weigh. Basically it, so adjust accordingly. Good luck.

I can usually eat way less then 1200 and not feel hungry even on days when I'm burning through 600-800 at the gym. I think it might depend on your weight and if your body is used to a a low cal diet.

I really didn't want to buy all new clothes or wear gym shorts in the winter. That's one of the many reasons.

Thank you to everyone who joined this conversation. Some of the comments and information have been an inspiration. I've been to three AA meetings over the last week and plan on another tonight. Not sure if the AA thing is for me, but giving it a shot. In the meantime, I'm keeping busy taking the kids swimming, going on a…

Focus on today. Decide to make healthy choices today. This is the same philosophy alcoholics, addicts, smokers, and cancer patients use. We're not guaranteed tomorrow nor can we control the future or past; but we do have control in the present. Good Luck.

I set my first goal to be 4 pounds under the max BMI for a person of my height and age. I hope to end up around a 22 based on BMI which would put me around 150-155.

I noticed that early this morning also. Reported at least three of them. Almost annoying as some of the trolls. Ha

Can't please everyone; and they're entitled to opinions. Maybe you should try associating with people who don't care to critize you and worry about themselves.

You should be eating about 160 grams of protein based on your weight. I was trying to lose a few pounds but gain lean muscle so I was eating 4-5 times a day with no more than 30 grams of carbs per meal. I wouldn't worry about the amount of calories as much as hitting your protein goal and keeping carbs low. This was all…

Don't eat your exercise calories back. If you're working out late then just eat close to what your goal is before exercise. IDKW ppl on here keep telling ppl tryin gto lose weight to eat so much. You need a deficit to lose so don't eat them back. Good luck.

Wake up at 4:45 have some coffee, get dressed, brush teeth, and out the door by 5:20. I walk the 10min to the gym to help wake me up and watch the sunrise. I usually just plug the headphones in and watch the news. The staff was slacking today and didn't turn on the tv's or music til 6am. That was boring.

For me it was when I lost 30lbs and the opposite when I gained 30. Can't win either way. Guess it's best to just stay at a healthy weight. lol

I'd change your settings manually to include less carbs and fat and more protein. You may just be eating to many calories also so you could change it back to 2lbs a week. Good Luck.

My intention wasn't to tear you down. Sometimes when I feel strongly about something I come off the wrong way. I don't believe in excuses or blaming others for anything. Everyone has the capacity to change their situation, and that's exactly what you're doing. If someone came up to me and asked "how'd you get so big dude,"…

When you reach your weight goal it's gonna up your calories anyway if you change it to maintenance . It only lowered them because you need less energy to burn the fat and lose weight. And it's 70 calories! That's like half a can of soda geez.

I was consuming roughly 2800cals a day when I first started and working out 4 days a week. About 2 weeks ago after only losing 4 pounds I decided to get serious and started walking to the gym and going everyday. So now I'm around 3-4 pound loss per week. And if you didn't notice I joined last year and lost 25lbs in 2…

Because they like to argue and discourage people from obtaining their goals. Most likely they can't do it themselves.

20 pounds in 10 weeks is 2lbs a week. That's a completely realistic and obtainable goal.
-
You can totally lose 20 pounds in 10 weeks with daily exercise and diet. People on here bashing this are trolls, overweight, or don't even have real pics. I lost 25 pounds last year in 2 months so it is possible. I wouldn't recomen staying at that calorie level once you lose the weight though. Try uping it a little when…

Think of it like your job; can you keep making mistakes or calling off and expect to keep your job or get a raise? Sure, there's room for an occasional mistake, but don't make it a habit. It's okay to have a burger or go indulge 1-2 times a month. Set that as a goal. 1-2 times enjoy yourself til you hit goal.

If you can afford all this food to gain weight I'm sure you can afford a higher priced gym.
-
You can def maintain at 1600 or even lose slowly if you eat the right things. You can still walk right? There's no excuse to not get any physical activity in everyday.

Where are you getting the fries? Did they fall in your lap? Don't go to the drive thru or buy fries. Common sense and self discipline goes a long way.
