It really depends. I use the IIYFM calculator and it recommends that I eat 1515 calories a day with 5 days of exercise a week. My calories deficit has been between 436-1244 this week. I've had a back injury in the last half of the week and that has limited the exercise I could do.

cool, thanks guys. Fish is pretty expensive over here so I don't really get to eat it more than once a couple weeks. I have been taking fish oil tablets too, but I'm not sure how much I should be taking. I take 3 tablets a day but I've heard that some runners do take more.

Hi guys, the reason I ask is that I love my Mizuno Wave Riders but find them to be to heavy for shorter treadmill running. Is there a shoes that people use for short treadmill running? My feet tend to roll in.

I wear Mizuno Wave Rider for running. I would be interested if anyone could suggest a lighter shoe for treadmill running though.

Thanks for the input everyone. I just got my second. The first I got was a tramp stamp and healed without a problem. The new one is on my ribs...planning of giving core work a miss for the rest of the week but hope to do some bike, tready and eliptical trainer instead but on a lower intensity. I'll keep you guys posted on…
