I have *so many* pounds to lose. This isn't my first round on MFP, I've been lurking for 4 years and before that, I successfully lost 40-50 pounds. Which came back with interest. Lets do it!

Yep, ditto! I lost 80 pounds 5 years ago and gained it all back with added interest. I'm going to get this right this time and keep it off. Good luck to you all!

Welcome back! The fact that we both keep coming back means that we haven't given up....we just get distracted :)

I'm currently following the "move your *kitten* as much as possible in any way" regimen followed up by the "stop stuffing your face with crap" diet. It's my first real day doing it this week and I feel pretty good about it. Of course, it leaves me wanting to get up from my desk and walk anywhere but back to my desk....but…

That's fabulous!

Hello! I'm back for....well, who cares how many times I've yo-yo-d with MFP... the point is I'm here to lose 83 pounds and for the love of the gods, I've been over thinking it! I didn't realize it until I read your post. Sending the FR now :)

I moved the wedding date out so I have a full year to lose 80+ pounds before I have to buy the dress or think abut fittings....and I'm scared as hell that I'll still be this size.....which is stupid because I would marry him tomorrow in a thong if that's what he wanted to do.

This.

Ditto....got the bug out eyes and then caught on to what the hell was going on...

Welcome back :) Feel free to add me, I've made it a personal goal to be on here every day and logging. I've also restarted recently having reached a point that I know I can focus on me.

This. On *SO* many levels! I would throw the thing against a brick wall, shoot it a few times with .30-06 at close range, throw it into traffic, encase it in cement, and finally send the damn thing to sleep with the fishes.

I have the iPhone on a payment plan and I make an effort to bring it with me when I move around. That being said, if I was given a FitBit, I'd probably use it instead.

You are fabulous and thank you so much for sharing and stressing that it was not a fad driven diet but a life style change and something you've made permanent. You're an inspiration and look freaking awesome!!

This is fabulous :) Just for today, Jan 7, 2015, I will: 1. Use *both* of my 15 minute breaks at work to walk. 2. Keep it to one glass of wine. 3. Remember that it took me 2 1/2 years to gain 40 pounds, it'll take more than 3 days of working out to lose it....not to mention the other 40....

Fabulous! And I know exactly the fight as my middle keeps trying to become the Apple of the Fruit of the Loom guys....

You're a fabulous person. :) And this, a thousand times.

You've covered everything I want....well, and a beer instead of that sad looking iced tea.

I'm working on losing 80 pounds (100 would put me in the Nicole Richie realm!) and I'm always looking for motivating friends and cohorts :)
-
I've had a glass or two of vodka and diet tonic every day and I don't feel that it kept me from losing before and I don't blame it for being the size I am now (that's the fun of fast food and ice cream!). Honestly, it's being honest in your diary and accounting for everything you consume. If you have the room, and you're…

I keep tabs on how many times I can refill my water bottle a day without feeling sloshy. I've made a game out of, trying to best myself. A girlfriend of mine started freezing fruit and putting it in her water bottle. It keeps it cold and also gives a bit of flavor. And, honestly, it helps me keep within my calories. When…

Nothing like being frightened and getting your workout on at the same time. B) May mess up the breathing for your crunches, but it's all worth it for the eye candy <3
