I overindulged and ate 1750 calories on my rest day yesterday and I lost .4 pound. Is that odd?

I thought I had my setting on lightly active, which would include exercise in the calorie amount they give you, right?

I actually eat under what MFP gives me, because I gained weight from eating the amount they give me.

But MFP does not distinguish between exercise and rest days. So it doesn't matter what you are doing, just eating the same calories?

I did eat what I thought was 1100 a day and was gaining weight. I ended up using measuring cup to determine the weight of my food instead and it worked for awhile till now (I got down to 135). I am now determined to get a scale soon since my weight loss has stalled again and experiencing a steady gaining. Thank you so much…

What do you guys thinking about eating at night. I have an apple at 9pm every day, is that too late?

I am going to invest in a scale. It might be that I am underestimating my intake. Maybe I need to stop my cheat days and see how that goes, I don't want it to wipe out my progress.

I could eat anywhere between 1500 to 2000 on my cheat days (once a week). I don't have a scale.

I got 18 pounds to lose. It's hard, the scale hasn't budged in weeks.

Now I upped my calories to 1400 and took 12000 steps a day and again I gained weight. Frustrated.

I think I will purchase a scale though, if it's true that I am way off on my estimated food intake. I am already doing some strength training, but maybe I will do a bit more. Should I do more cardio? Would exercise videos be good to follow?

I really don't think I am eating more than I think, I add food according to the calories information on the package or according to mfp calories estimate for veg and others and I overestimate all. It's just really odd why I am not losing weight.

No I don't have a scale right now, but I have been overestimating my food intake just in case it's more.
