  • Yeah, you should definitely do the C25K program, especially if you're new to the running thing.
  • As long as I don't have a big disaster or something, I will be finishing Week 8 tonight! I'm pretty stoked about it.
  • I finished Week 7 of the C25K program this evening! Next up........W8 D1.....28 minutes straight!! Wish me luck..
  • I hope all of you keep it up on the c25k. If I can do it, anybody can. I'm sure that I'm going to hit some roadblocks in weeks 7, 8, and 9. I will keep you updated.
  • I'm doing W5 D3 tonight. I think that is a 20 minute run!
  • I'm glad I found this thread. I didn't realize so many people were doing C25K. I finished W4D2 last night. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, where I will finish W4!
  • I download the podcasts to my Phillips GoGear Vibe mp3 player without any problem. Here is the link I use: http://www.c25k.com/podcasts.htm It works just fine for me. I'm starting week three tonight.

You can tell you daughter that this is what happened to me: 18 yrs old: 165 lbs. 22 yrs old: 200 lbs. 30 yrs old: 238 lbs. Now I want to puke when I look in the mirror. Perhaps she will get the point if you share this with her.

  • Sugar hasn't really been a problem for me. However, sodium is a killer for me. I can't find a way to beat it. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • I like to go by Subway and have a foot-long Chicken Teriyaki on wheat with sweet onion sauce. No cheese. It is relatively guilt free and tastes excellent.

For all 9 days so far I have come in at 1150-1350 calories. 2) I have been eating some of my exercise calories back, but not even close to…
