For 5'2" 32" is pretty big. I think the 34" might be for an average height male? I am 5'0" and I have a 27" waist and 35-36" hips. My waist was 33" when I was obese.

I don't do well with home workouts. We have the equipment but my focus isn't the same and I don't maintain the same intensity. I can move weight the same, but my heart rate doesn't stay as high. I don't get as good of a metabolic workout, the kids, the bugs (our setup is in an open carport, no garage door), the humidity,…

I lost like a lb when I weaned my youngest on the 11th of August. I'm finding myself less hungry. My weight trending app says I'm losing like 0.5lbs a month now, it's trending down. I'd been breastfeeding for 7.5 years straight. I also lost all my weight while breastfeeding, and maintained for a year and a half, so it is…

I deadlifted 205 today! First time I have broken 200, and I didn't just do it once I did 2 sets of 5. I was on top of the world, I have wanted to get over 200 for so long. 225 here I come

Mine starts getting unreliable when the battery gets low, bouncing all over the place.

They just announced a testing center in my state was sending in the positive results but not the negative results. They didn't give the details. I heard about something like that in FL, but I wasn't sure it was accurate. But I heard this from the Governor in the covid daily update and the head of the Dept of Health. Why do…

I have such trouble sleeping. I can't do earplugs, they make me feel pressure in my ears. I have TMJ. I grind my teeth, but I can't keep mouthguards in at night. I try to wear eye coverings because I wake up with my eyes super dry.

Tried it, it's painful. Why recommend hook grip over mixed grip?

That is probably people buying. You can get spray stuff here but rarely wipes. Businesses buy it too, small businesses shop at walmart/sams/kroger, etc - my gym has had an assortment of spray cleaners because it's what they can get. My chiropractor uses lysol between patients, etc - I doubt they all mail order it. They…

I have anxiety, I take magnesium daily. I can tell a difference in my anxiety if I don't take it. I still have sleep issues - not insomnia, I have a different natural sleep phase than "normal'. I take melatonin sometimes for that. I don't have cramp issues. I used to only take citrate ( I don't take oxide, it is not well…

I still have the can of wipes I bought the first day of the shutdown. They are nearing empty. I have bought wipes twice since then, the second time I gave them all to MIL though. I work from home. I leave the house to go to church, the gym, and pick up groceries. I sanitize my hands when I get to church and when I get back…

It's also a first cousin to phentermine, which is a weight-loss drug. I think it's kind of a second cousin to pseudoephedrine, which is (kind of) OTC for nasal congestion. We use (prescription) drugs that are similar to street drugs all the time. And people abuse prescription drugs on the street. It doesn't mean they are…

I thought if you were maintaining 6' distance masks were not necessary? Maybe that's just my state. Masks are mandated when you CANNOT maintain 6' distance. I see requiring them in hallways and stuff, but if the desks are enforced 6' distancing, isn't that socially distant? Also in my state, kids 10 and under are not…

110lbs is a healthy for 5'2, right in the middle. A healthy weight range should be 99-121lbs. I think I would question the nutritionist further about this.

I thought they were phasing out G2 because they had Gzero now. All I see at the store is Gzero. I don't drink Gzero, when I drink sports drinks I'm at the gym and I'm looking for some carbs. I know people who drink it for a zero-calorie drink.

I wear one where required by law. I think they are security theater, but like the TSA, I'll play. The reason I think people resist wearing them is that they are being told they are a leper. You don't wear a mask to protect yourself - you do it because YOU are a filthy disgusting person who's very breath will be the death…

OR dryer sheets, they do the same thing.

I wear callous guard gloves, they are just little 4 finger thin leather gloves. They protect me from callouses from ripping and keep them from getting super calloused. Didn't increase my lifts. If your grip is slipping, it isn't due to your hands unless they are just sweaty. Chaulk will help with that. If your grip is…

My MIL's PCR test came back negative. She's still sick, but it isn't covid.

I wanted to update on my MIL: Her doctor's office did a Point of Care antigen test as well as sending her sample for a PCR test. The antigen tests are reliable if positive but can give false negatives, which is why they did both. Her antigen test was negative. Her doctor's office said they have only had two that came up…

My MIL started feeling sick Sunday, she said it felt like strep throat. Her doctor had her come in for a strep test and a covid test, the strep test was negative (although rapid strep tests are not super accurate I've heard) so she is waiting on her covid test. She said it feels just like strep and she really doesn't think…

You probably need to talk to your doctor. DH was on that, but he was on the generic (you may also want to discuss that with your doctor), it did not cost us nearly that much. He lost 70lbs on it, rather quickly. He just didn't feel hungry. My MIL has also been put on it and has lost 30lbs in the past 6 weeks - she…

I would add, I work from home so I just wear my mask when entering the gym and to church on Sunday, as well as a once-weekly shopping trip (if we don't do pickup) and/or the occasional dash into the dollar store. I just have my regular annoying adult acne, I haven't noticed any more due to mask usage, but I'm not wearing…

My sister works in healthcare, she's got maskne. My husband's cousin works at Walmart, she has it - she said she has 60-year-old women complaining about the acne. Both of them said disposable ones make it worse, something in the material?

I saw her make it in a video and preordered the pattern, I really want to make it but I don't have the space right now for such a large project or the time to dedicate to it. I will probably just have to work it in on the weekends though, like all of my other sewing projects. Her video: https://youtu.be/jfmggy_Gi9E

I went to the roller skating rink tonight for the first time in 15 or more years, I haven't been since I was a teenager living at home (I'm 32 now). I was a little shaky getting started, but I skated for probably 1.5 hours and I could have kept going, but I went with my sisters who were out with tired legs and sore feet.…

I have this pattern, I don't quite have the time yet but I really want to make it: https://bella-maes.com/product/grace-18th-century-pdf-pattern/

Thanks for the reply. Every review I've read says it tastes just like sugar, but less sweet. DH has been having it in his coffee all week, he usually has stevia which has a much more distinctive taste. I gave DH a piece of the extra cake last night, he had no problems. I think it's just me. I also ate way too much. I think…

I'm 5' and I'm currently at 123lbs, trying to get back down to 113 eventually. I was 113 in March. Covid happened to me too and I shot up to 123! I can't seem to go back down, I watch my calories, I work out, the scale is not budging. I'm eating 1450 and eating back exercise calories. I should be losing 0.5lbs a week but…
