Color: Silver Group Current Weight: 138.5 Goal Weight: 133.5 Something new this week I've never done before (at least since I was in my 20's) is to run 3.4 miles outside not on the treadmill. It is more difficult for me to run outside especially on uneven ground. I hope to run my first 5K on Mother's Day.

I like the taste of freshly ground almond butter at the whole foods co-op, but I don't eat peanut butter too much because of the high caloric count.

I use a scale. With leafy vegetables the calories are so low, and I am trying to get macro nutrients up. Without the scale, I would measure less for leafy vegetables. Also without the scale I'd measure more for foods that I like to eat.

I had Cascadian Farm Honey Nut O's yesterday and thought they were a quick low-calorie, healthy cereal. 110 calories/cup. Organic ingredients-so no GMO's. No perservatives and 7 g. of sugars. Very similar to cheerios, but sweeter than plain cheerios and less sweet than honey nut cheerios with more crunch.

I scrub 6-8 potatoes(usually russet, but sometimes sweet potatoes) well with a vegetable brush, cut out any eyes. After that I cut them into french fries with a knife.Then I stir in 2 tablespoons olive oil into the potatoes. Spread them on a rimmed cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
