I think this is a good idea and best to choose a time you can stick to then it doesn't seem so bad and you won't be tempted to miss it. I think I would, in time, see muscle toning even from just 10 mins so I hope you do too.

I got bad knees from running and now I just powerwalk or brisk walk outside instead and my knees got better. I tried to run a bit the other day and they hurt for days after so I will not try again.

I have in the past felt unwell only having 1200 calories a day and being honest that I rarely manage it. Ideally I want to lose 28 lbs. Lost 7 so far but stuck. Another 7 lbs would be good. I walk fast about half an hour a day and look after a 3 year old. I don't know what my deficit is. I put in 2 lb loss a week and got 1200 calories. I am about 154 lbs.

They say eating too much sugar causes a bigger waist so maybe look at that? I had a weird tummy for ages after giving birth - maybe water retention. After all our hormones get messed about a lot during all this! Maybe try eating anti inflammatory foods like celery, radish and salads and lots of water.

Try eating a raw carrot a day! ... or a celery stick. Magnesium supplements help taken at evening meal as they can aid sleep. I take supplement with magnesium and calcium for the bones. Acidophilus tablets can also help taken after a meal. Spirulina tablet first thing before food. I wouldn't try all at once though!

Yes. Walk as fast as you can and use your arms too. Find as many hills/slopes as possible and walk up them!

Some people think it is mucus forming in the gut? I must admit to feeling guilty about drinking milk for some reason ... But I have trouble getting enough calcium and protein so drink it.

My name is Rachael. I am going on holiday soon and hope to lose for that.
