I weighed about 220 a year ago and now I'm around 123/125. Just keep going and before you know it you will be significantly smaller

Messaged the how to :)

I think everyone has already said it.......

Lots of fast food, food in general, wine, and yummy stuff like donuts, brownies, cake, cup cakes, pie, cookies, ect..... It's the same now just a lot less of it lol
-
This is how I do it too :) most accurate way to go

when going out to eat at a restaurant that doesn't show you the calories and you can't look them up, I always try to find something on mfp that is the same or similar and go with one of the higher calorie options of that item just to be safe. I know that doesn't solve all issues but it might help a little.

Good one :) I had a family member upset that she only lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks so I sent her this pic

Somethings I use is bodymedia armband (tracks everything I do and the fact that its on my arm reminds me to get off my butt and do something) I have a wall where I have all my exercises, goals, weight, and measurements (also reminds me what and why I'm doing this) I have before pictures and progress pictures (shows me the…

It helped for me to set small goals. for example instead to saying I want to lose 100 lb, I set a goal for 5 or 10 lbs and then when I reached that goal I set a new one. I also set fitness goals for myself, like, 5 more minutes of cardio a day or upping my reps or weight. If you are having a hard time sticking with your…

Lifting, moisturizing, and exfoliating. other then that I think the rest depends on genetics, age, and skin elasticity. I have a little loose skin after losing almost 100 lbs but I will take that over the 100 lbs of weight any day.

You can skip it, but you will look better if you do it. You don't have to exercise to lose weight. you just have to be in a calorie deficit.
-
LOL Me too! My wedding ring is about 2 sizes too big for me now :) But yeah I've heard the whole "you carry your weight so well" although now, looking back at pictures of myself, I think they were just being nice......

Paleo or any other type of diet, you still need a calorie deficit to lose weight. You can still gain weight on healthy food if you eat too much of it. Count calories and create a modest deficit. Also read the thread _Zardoz_ posted.

Life happens to people...... bad food choices for years on end, health problems, not being active, some weren't taught how to stay healthy, some just don't care.... I've met A LOT of people that have no clue what healthy eating vs unhealthy eating is. I look at pictures of myself from a year ago and wonder how I let myself…

maybe 125/130.....

This should always be the answer...... to everything.
-
5'1 and my original goal was 135.... reach that and decided to go down to 125.... now I'm thinking 120 and then work on gaining some muscle. Not as scale obsessed anymore though.
-
5'1 here and at first my GW was 135 but now I'm gunning for 120.... I'll see how I feel from there :) only about 5 more lbs to go yay!
-
I average 60 minutes a day..... sometime do 30 cause I'm feeling lazy

Some people will notice but won't say anything because they think commenting on your weight may offend you. So yeah maybe that is was that lady was looking at. When people do comment though I just say thank you.
-
Right! No more mindless eating for me :) I still eat all the same foods just in moderation now :drinker:
-
And this is why I drink Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi. :drinker: Heh Heh But really OP, start logging your intake accurately. You can't know for sure what your calorie intake is unless you are weighing and logging everything.

LOL yup! Even when they don't say anything you can see the look of disappointment on their face. Like they were expecting you to say you took a pill, sat on you butt and the weight just melted off.

Yup I've gotten the same comments. They started about 30+ lbs ago. Although a few of those people have changed their tune and are now asking me for weight loss advice. Lol
