How do you know when someone rejected your friend request on this site? Also do you get offended when you notice that you where rejected?

    There's no way of knowing when someone has declined, or is just holding onto your request for an indefinite period. I almost never, ever send requests, so if I do and it's declined, it does hurt. I don't do well with rejection. :noway:

    i dont send friend requests but if I did I dont think id notice if they declined

    I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to send an angry PM asking them why they're evil and hate you so much, and accusing them of kicking puppies.

    I've never sent a friend request so I wouldn't know.

    However I have accidentally clicked on decline a fair few times so sometimes it could be unintentional.

    IF your FR was rejected you probably did not put enough thought or personal touch into it....unless you are me and its just too perverted...

    I have only sent 10-12 requests in my year and a half here...and can only recall 1-2 times noticing that it wasn't accepted. Maybe I am overly confident in this area <snort...not that it matters much> but I'd just assume the person had a very small & selective friends list, and I wouldn't be bothered by it at all.

    I decline people more now that I have a fairly large friends list. It is difficult to keep up with everyone. If someone hasn't been a member long, I don't recognize them from the forums, and they don't send a message, I rarely accept. Sometimes I deny if I glance at the person's profile and we seem to have NOTHING in common...for example "I'm a mom of 7 kids trying to lose that last 10 lb from 115 to 105, I believe in a gluten free no vaccination Christian lifestyle"...wtf am I gonna talk about with that person? Decline.

    I don't think you would know, but don't stress it. Move on...

    I've had a few issues with friend request, as of yesterday I refuse to send any more request.

    I send daily PMs begging to be buddies, and then if they block me I make another profile and beg them again, if they block that one then I find one of their buddies and PM that person and friend them, and then I find out the person's name, age, address, and favorite music. I then create a mix tape where I profess my buddy love and beg them to friend me. If that doesnt work then I purchase a plane ticket and a cab and go to that person's house with the mix tape blaring on a boom box. I then will pound on the door screaming, "BE MY BUDDY I NEED YOU I WANT YOU YOU ARE MY LIFE AND MY LOVE!" I pound on the door if they arent home I go to their work. If security escorts me off the premises and they take out that restraining order thing I buy camouflage, duct tape, and a large trash bag. Then well usually by then they are my buddy for life.

    If they don't show up in your friend list, then they haven't accepted the request. Whether they rejected it or just haven't taken action on it is really kind of irrelevant.

    If someone you don't actually know doesn't accept a request, why would you get upset? If it's someone you actually know, talk to them.

    Seriously, children on websites...this isn't elementary school, folks.
