That's good advice, thank you! I suppose 10 pounds might be a good goal then, at least for now. :)

Yeah I thought about that, but I feel like at my height 10 pounds wouldn't make enough of a difference :/

It depends. If I exercise a lot, I'll eat 1500-1700. If I don't, I try to aim for 1200-1300. And I'm 5'10 and around 153 pounds.

Your thighs are not huge. You're sitting down so of course they look much bigger than they actually are. My thighs aren't overly "big", but when I sit down they look like at least twice the size they normally do. Don't try to lose weight. You need to eat more and take care of yourself because being underweight is…

Great, thanks for the advice! :) I'll see if I can get a food scale soon.

Oh I don't want to drop to 130. I want to lose 15 pounds, so that would be around 140 for me.

I'm in!

I'm in! I would like to lose 5 pounds by St Patrick's Day. SW: 156 GW: 151

I'm 5'10 and my start weight is 156 pounds. My first goal weight is 145 pounds and my second goal weight is 140 pounds. Haven't lost a thing yet

I've never done it, but I've heard most people gain the weight back after juice fasts, probably due to the fact that they don't change their lifestyle to accommodate their new weight.

I love pumpkin and gingerbread so this sounds delicious. Will definitely be making soon! Thanks for the idea :)

It's an imitation bacon made from turkey :) If you don't have it, just go with regular bacon.

Check out Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Squash from skinnytaste.com. I've made it and it's SO good. When I'm feeling lazy, though, I'll just add salt, garlic powder, and some tomato basil sauce to my spaghetti squash.

I'm 5'9.5 and currently 126. Trying to gain weight because, although my BMI isn't dangerously low, 126 just looks toooo skinny on my frame. So, it all depends on your build. If you're a small frame, you might look alright but be careful. Make sure you're healthy, have enough energy, still menstruate, all that stuff.

Trainers don't know everything. I'm lactose intolerant, so dairy is not the best option for me, but for many people, dairy is a great source of protein and it's filling as well. I see nothing wrong with it.

I've heard that running outside is better because there's usually a higher incline. But, you can apparently achieve the same result by running on the treadmill at an incline of about 1.0-1.5.

Nope, doesn't really matter that much what you eat as long as you're eating at a deficit. But if you want your body to be healthy, you should try and eat at least some healthy foods. You can make healthy food taste just as good as junk food.

You should be eating more. I know you're trying to lose weight, but 1,200 calories is what a 6 year old needs, so I think that's too low even for weight loss. What's more is the fact that your BMR (basic metabolic rate) is WAY over 1,200 calories. Your BMR is the amount of calories your body needs just to function. You're…
