Pfffft. Not IIFYM ;)

Feel free to add me :) I'm trying to cut out my wine as well, I love a glass or two with dinner!

Maybe you shouldn't assume that because I'm a woman, I would be lifting with barbie weights and not challenging myself. It's ignorant comments like that that keep women from feeling welcome in the weight room. And if I was lifting with so called barbie weights because that was the best of my ability and fitness level at…

I love mine!! Especially because I have a group of fitness friends who also have one and we are always pushing each other (cheering, taunting) to get each other going and trying to beat each others steps :) It's a fantastic motivator!

Thanks everyone else for the great advice. Also, glute bridges + hip thrust= love!

Probably the rudest comment ever made to me- you get a cookie. I'm sorry that squatting with 55-70 pounds on my shoulders is all I can manage right now, at least I'm trying. My gym doesn't have pink Barbie weights in the big boy section. I'll keep an eye out for them- they'll definitely match my outfits.
-
I squat- as I mentioned in my previous post about not wanting to undo the strength training I am doing.
-
I usually maintain a 2.5% incline- is that enough? I would hate to be undoing the weight training I am doing, haha.
-
I tuck it into my socks :)

I use both the FT4 and a FitBit. IMO they serve separate purposes- I use my HRM when I am at the gym to get an accurate burn. I use my FitBit to make sure I am not sitting on my butt all day ;) I really, really love my FitBit though. It really motivates me to keep moving.

Amazing!! We have the exact same starting stats- I may try StrongLifts when I finish my current program :) WTG!

Feel free to add me :)!

I guess because I am trying to lose body fat and seeing that number on the scale is hard for me. I didn't even break 140 for the first time in my life until I was 8 months pregnant and by 3 months post-partum I was down to 124.5lbs... I am happy with the inches so far, but I don't see a difference. I guess I just like…
-
Oh, and adding that my attempts are not entirely fruitless- I have lost over 9 inches in my bust, natural & navel waist and hip measurements in the past month :) So my body is changing, just the scale refuses to move.

Sounds good, thanks. I was curious and went through my diary for all of April and I only ate restaurant food 5 times between all meals, is that considered excessive? I thought that wasn't too bad, but it'll save money in the long run anyways so no problem :) I just got a new HRM (one that actually seems to be working) and…

My oven doesn't have an internal fan :( I could look into getting a dehydrator though, it might be more economical to make my own :) Also- they don't sell Epic bars here in Canada, I'm sad now!
-
Whoa, those sound good! I have never even heard/seen anything like that- adding it to the list :)
-
I will have to check both of those out- thanks :) I don't really care about sodium, which is probably horrible- but you can only obsess over so many things in a day lol ;)!
-
Ahhhh jerky is a fantastic suggestion- would be the perfect snack for a salty & crunchy lovin' gal like me :) Thanks!
-
Request sent :) Good luck on your lifting- you will learn to love it almost as much as you love cardio!
-
Interval running, the stair treadmill on the calorie burn setting at level 16/20 (dripping sweat by time I finish), and newly added is hip thrusts :)
-
Thanks for the response :) I'm willing to cut back on my wine ;)! I think it's the culprit in my weight loss being stalled, since eating at a deficit doesn't seem to be working and I doubt I am lifting heavy enough to be gaining muscle at this stage. I eat at the same times every day; wake between 6:30-7, coffee first.…

Bump (sorry if I am not supposed to bump once it has been tagged- that thread didn't really say anything other than not to bump for 48 hours)
-
Also, if you are just starting out with quinoa- you should also try red & black quinoa OP; especially black if you like it to have a crunchier texture.
-
I love quinoa with pretty much everything. In salads, as a warm side dish on its own, but my fave way to indulge is to make Quinoa Pizza Bites! SO delish :)

Love this <3! My why is my daughter. I want her to see first hand what living a proactive healthy lifestyle is instead of growing up with a mom who is reacting to weight gain. I want her to understand that eating well and exercising are important to having a balanced healthy and long life!
-
Request sent :) Good luck! Anyone else can feel free to add me as well (:

@MMAGuy784 totally meant to grab him, was passing on the previous comment.

She was too sarcastic

hug but pass!
