I'm in the same boat! I have roughly 40lbs to lose. My daughter turned 3 at the end of October and my son was born on November 5th. I tried to go back to eating the way I was before I was pregnant with my son (following South Beach diet), but my milk supply suffered and so did my energy level. So here I am. The friend…

I meant CALCULATORS!!! LOL

I was in the same boat a week ago and then I found www.freedieting.com. Click on "calulators" (left hand column) -->click "calorie calulators". It breaks it all down for you. Each week I lose, I go in and recalculate. Good luck!!

WTG!! I too am on SBD and I'm not going to lie, the first 3-4 days are tough BUT you have the books, the fresh veggies are essential and drinking a lot of water (to the point where it's coming out your ears) and you'll get through it. I promise!! You're the only one that can get you through it. Just keep telling yourself…

I too am working the SBD. I started in October, lost 20lbs by Christmas (made it through the holidays with a loss of 8lbs), however...I started phase 2 VERY slowly and when I was in it full-swing, things went bad :( I know what I did wrong and am now back at square one, but I'm OK with it. Carbs have always been difficult…

I get up at 5am Monday-Saturday, start my work out at 5:30 and go for 80 minutes. It was hard the first 2 weeks, but after that I started to just wake-up on my own. I have found an early morning workout sets the pace for the rest of the day; no trying to fit it in later or feeling sick because I ate something that doesn't…

Hi!! I'm doing the same thing-using yoga for my strength training. I'm using a DVD series by bodywisdom (found on Amazon) that include power yoga, flow yoga (strength and flexibility) and weight loss; I've tried them all and really enjoy them. I have NO previous experience with yoga either and I find them easy to follow.…

I have Bob Harper's DVD that came with a 10lb kettlebell and let me tell you, be prepared to sweat and be sore for a few days (maybe a week depending on your fitness level). I like BH's DVD much better than the KettleWorx DVD series only because BH emphasizes safety. Have fun and good luck!
