  • From HUNGRY GIRL-200 RECIPES UNDER 2OO CALORIES cookbook by Lisa Lillien Tried these out at a pig roast last night. HUGE HIT! Everyone loved them and they were one of the first dishes to get cleared out! I made the recipe exactly as below, except I added maybe 1 tablespoon green onions and 1 thin slice of a portabello…
  • Personally, I'm really big on KEEN brand shoes. Love my boots! And getting something with GoreTex in it (water repellant outside) is definitely worth the investment. I would suggest GoreTex in my boots and a GoreTex outer shell or lightweight jacket, just in case. Check out Campmor.com for great deals. A LOT cheaper than…
  • @yogamazinglife: LOVE IT! Any Black Eyed Peas or New Young Pony Club! Pump It!
  • Welcome! :) Just wanted to give you a heads up (because I didn't know this when I started), sometimes, when you adjust your calorie intake dramatically (I went from somewhere around 2500 calories a day to 1200 calories), you're body needs time to adjust. Your metabolism may drop, because your body thinks it is…
  • Also, did you know that you can freeze bananas? Peel a couple, slice them, and put them on wax paper, on a pan, then wrap in saran wrap and place in freezer. Helps with portion control as well!
  • That recipe is SIMPLY DEVINE! Great for curbing my cheesecake/chocolate cravings! :) By the way, could someone please explain to me what BUMP means when people reply to a post? Thanks!
  • I only have a couple of tips, but maybe they will help! :) 1) No Salt with Potassium-tastes like salt without the sodium! 2) For any spaghetti dishes, substitute spinach noodles instead of white enriched or wheat noodles. A lot less bloating!

Fiber keeps you full, caffeine wards off hunger pains. Oh, and drink 1/2 oz of water for every lb you weigh. That'll do it…
  • I agree. Sometimes I get nauseous when I work out really hard, cardio and muscles. Just kind of have to power through it. :)
  • If you have a bit of speed in your step (think power-walking) try going under Cardio and using this one: Walking, 3.5 mph, uphill It's what I use. :) I think you can add weight to it as well. Good luck!
  • Sun-Crystals! Only 5 calories per pack! (I used to use like 5-6 packs of sugar for a small coffee. Now I use one packet of Sun-Crystals. It's that sweet! Oh, and non-dairy creamer is like 10 cal per teaspoon or tablespoon or something. So, my coffe every morning costs me around 35 calories (because I still use a ton of…

  • :) I had the same problem yesterday. Didn't make it to the gym, and I WAS STARVING! You know how some people get a little moody if they're hungry? By dinnertime, my husband lovingly told me to be quiet until I had dinner. Ha! That said, I get adjusted, so to speak, to the extra 200 calories I earn a day by going to the…
