I am not doing exercise today not until tonight but right now I am so hungry I had to eat my lunch early why is that? Sometimes when you are dehydrated you can feel hungry. Try drinking a big glass of water and see if that helps. :flowerforyou:0

I dont really have an answer but I can tell you that I take Sundays off from exercising and I am always hungry ALL day long. I let sunday be my free eating day so i dont stress about it too much. I just eat when Im hungry and I am still losing weight so it must be what my body needs. This may be the same for you. I would say eat when you are hungry, just eat healthy food0

i'm guessing it has to do with your energy levels and hormone balances, also your hydration. there's plenty of things that can trick you into feeling extra hungry. if you're thirsty, it could make you mistakingly take the feeling for hunger. also, if your night of sleep was interrupted or irregular, it could cause you to feel like you need to eat more to get extra energy. if you're less busy or active than normal, you may think you need to eat to use up time.
NOT exercising can actually make you feel more hungry! this is because your endorphins are down and your energy is not flowing. your body feels you need to make up for the lack of an energy high by taking in extra carbs, which is not what you actually need.
For women, t.o.m. can also throw off your hormones to make you feel like you want extra food. if that's the case, have an extra snack! there's no point in fighting it. just make sure your extra snack is super healthy, like raw fruit or veggies. if that's not the case, evaluate yourself to make sure you drink enough water, get enough rest, and get your body moving.0 -
I had the same problem yesterday. Didn't make it to the gym, and I WAS STARVING! You know how some people get a little moody if they're hungry? By dinnertime, my husband lovingly told me to be quiet until I had dinner. Ha!
That said, I get adjusted, so to speak, to the extra 200 calories I earn a day by going to the gym. If I don't go, I lose those calories for that day and I feel like I am starving. So, I've learned, don't skip the gym.
Other tips, drink an 8 oz glass of water when you're hungry, or a cup of coffee, coke zero, diet coke, etc. Caffeine helps curb hunger pains (ever look at the label of one of those weight loss pills-caffeine).
Hope that helps!0 -
Try to add some protein like nuts or cheese to your snacks or have them on hand in case it is a day where you feel extra hungry. It happens to me as well and I think it is just our body's way of telling us it is adjusting and that we may just need a little bit extra that day. It is just as important that we are listening to our bodies instead of just how to dictate what it will take in and put out.0
