I am in the same boat. I have gained all my weight in the past 6 years from having three kids. I have a little over 100 to lose. Hopefully we can both reach our goals!!!

I have tried apple sauce in baked goods and I have to say that I dont like it. It makes the cake dense instead of light and fluffy. I have found that if you replace a lot of the ingredients with diet soda, it taste wonderful. Just google diet soda cakes!!!!! Good luck

Instead of making french fries with regular potatoes, use sweet potatoes, make over fried chicken strips, make healthy wraps, its so many things you can do. You just have to try different foods and see what works

Hey....Just trying to see how everyone was doing with the 30 day shred.....It hurts but it will be all worth it on May 1st when you see the final results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just did my first 30 day shred......Wow!!!!! I had to walk up the steps to get my son out of his crib and on the way down, I thought my legs were going to go out!!! LOL....I am still sweating!!! Good luck everyone!!!!!!! I am so happy to have a group of people taking this journey with me!!!!!!:bigsmile: :happy:

Ok so everyone above is in on the 30 day shred starting tomorrow. Today, we will be posting our before pictures and our measurements. I will upload mine in a few. I can not wait to see everyone's results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do the dvd everyday for 30 days. It has three levels of intensity and you are supposed to go up a level every 10 days. I hope this helps.

I found that it really does not matter when you work out. I like to switch it up days so my workout schedule always vary... We will help each other though!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at my pant size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or pull out a pair that I used to fit....It really helps me understand what falling off will do. I also remember that I am doing this to add years back to my life and be able to play with my kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a wonderful dessert recipe from someone up here a while ago. It was chocolate graham crackers with sugar free cool whip in the middle like an ice cream sandwich. Just put it in the freezer for a few and it is just like you are eating a crunchy ice cream sandwich

I dont always get to 1200 calories. As long as your not feeling hungry, you should be okay....Also as long as your not feeling tired all the time because that means your metabolism is slowing down

It just helps you sweat more. Its more appealing to just use a belly pand. I got mine from Walmart for about $9.00.

I dont eat mine. The only way I will eat any of them is if I workout at night and Im a little hungry when I get home. Even then, I only eat a very light snack.

Looking at your diary I see that you go over your fat intake almost daily and by the food you eat, I can tell that you probably go over suar too. I was told that strength training really helps. I cant remember the website I was on, but it said that using more weights with less reps is more effective. When I find the site, I will post it up here....

I am not a runner, but you need to focus on food with a lot of fiber that keep you full longer. I know that beans will keep you full so if you dont already eat them, add them and see if it helps!!!:wink:

I think that losing weight is a change that you have to really be mentally ready for. If you are not completely ready for it, you will always have times like that. Checked your diary and you dont eat enough calories. U should also add sugar to your diary so that you can track it. I see you have a few high sugar foods that you eat. Once your body has too much sugar, it turns to fat

Being as though you dont have much weight to lose, it may take longer for you to lose it. But if you are losing inches, than you really shouldnt worry because muscle weighs more than fat. hope this helps!!!!
