And here we go again. about a year ago my wife and i separateed. we got back together around 3 months later, but in those 3 months i let myself go and got myself back over 100kgs. its time to start (again) trying to get this back down.

i made 4.7km in my final 30 minutes. did the 5km in 32.

i finished the program last monday. Got so close to the 6:00 pace needed to complete 5km in 30 minutes but alas it wasnt to be. I got to 4.7km in the alotted 30 minutes and completed the 5km in 32mins. will move on to 10k once i have my pace down to 6:00 this is the starting spot of my run

finished week 7 today. technically I've done the full thing as tonight I just kept on running until I hit the 5km Mark (33:25). so running for 30 minutes is no issue. ive also ditched the 5 minute warm up. One minute tops before I start running

I'm to logic minded. i need the kind of plan that says day 1 do this many of these exercises day 2 do these etc etc then repeat over 4 weeks with different combos each day

i dont do it on a treadmill but i vary rarely do two days in a row. definitely not at the start anyway. I think i did it once in week 4 because i was angry at myself at my performance for one of the days so i went out the next day and smashed it. doing week 6 day 3 tomorrow. no more walking for me

finished week 6 day 2 yesterday. As always I pushed through in to the cooldown with a slow jog rather than a walk but I saw an opportunity to crack 35mins for 5k (i always push my workout to 5km regardless of when the c25k app tells me to stop) so I hammered the last 200m. yes, im just about to do week 6 day 3 and since there are no longer any walking intervals i am no longer going to include the warm up in my strava app. i will continue to log the cool down tho as i do not walk in cool down but just slow down my running to a light jog.

Ive just discovered that i have developed a watermelon allergy. if i eat it my throat closes up and I find it hard to breathe. I am 38 and have been eating watermelon all my life. It sucks because it is such a good snack to have especially in the hot summer of Australia
