I am a stage III breast cancer survivor too. Just completed treatment. Looking forward to having more people in the same boat. Feel free to add me.

I just completed my treatment for breast cancer. Health and exercise is a huge issue for me too. Iwould love to join a few people who are in the same boat. Feel free to add me if you like.

I am currently fighting breast cancer and on chemo. It is really hard when you are in this situation but I am trying to eat healthy but not counting calories. I have cut out white sugar from my diet. And processed and fried food. I cannot exercise much but I try to squeeze in some yoga and walking here and there.

Hey guys. Thanks for the input!

Yes, :) I am sticking to my plan for sometime. I was actually training 7 days a week and that kinda tired me out. Now I am going to increase intensity on weekdays and take rest on weekends :) Hopefully the inches will melt away.

I completely agree with you. I do not want to define my lifestyle by numbers. For some this might be perfectly normal, for me its not :) People are different.
-
Like I mentioned :) its not possible because of the choices I have. And it worked for me till now. I really do not believe you need to measure your food to lose weight, sometimes you just have to be a little smart :) Weightloss isnt really my goal, I was just rechecking with everyone about my lifestyle change. As of today…

it is actually :D actually the city I live in, its not so popular there. But we did find a small vendor which delivers food to our office and in limited amount. Food its home cooked and tasty. :) Before I had to cook my own lunch or take whatever horrible tasting food was provided where I stay :(
-
just start!! Believe me.. it gets better. I used to be just like you. I used to hate moving around or sweating or anything which requires physical activity. But now I just love it. Once you start, the feel good feeling takes over and makes you feel awesome!!! :)

I agree with you on the Indian food thing :( specially when I am eating out. For homemade stuff I know calories are probably less. and sometimes I try to log the ingredients rather than the dish. Hopefully I will be able to get my own place soon and can cook myself.

According to HRM I am burning 600-750 calories per day that is an overestimation may be. PiYo is mainly bodyweight strength training and T25 beta is mainly cardio with some strength training with dumbbells. I am not looking for weight loss as such. And its not like I am not absolutely losing weight but losing it very…

Fat loss and inch loss. If not weight loss. Just want to look and feel good.

Problem is I have to depend on outside food a lot. I stay as a paying guest where food is provided. Lunch also I order through dabba system (,won't make much sense to non Indians , its a lunch box delivery system ) . all the homemade healthy food. But I can't really measure.

Ohh and I missed to add my stats Height : 5 ft ( probably half an inch less) Weight : 111-112 lbs (depends on the day) I work in IT so apart from what I mentioned I dont get to move around much except little housework

For me though MFP gives me a lot less calories than my Polar FT4. I am trying the eating 50-80% of my exercise calories back method. Let me see how it goes.
-
I could successfully do side plank and PiYo pike without dropping my leg. :)
-
I just did T25 Speed 2.0 and burnt 266 calories. It must be correct as it was purely cardio. Even if I chose high impact aerobics in MFP for 25 mins it does not show this much burn! P.S I am 5ft and 111-112lbs on most days

I typically do not eat back all my exercise calories all the time as I do not weigh my food as well. Sometimes I go over and sometimes under. I used to average out on a weekly basis. Now I am planning to average out on 80% of the calories as see where it takes me. I cannot do without eating exercise calories at all as I am…

PiYo is combination of Pilates and Yoga but it is not slow as we are moving around continuously. T25 is mainly cardio.
-
Then how to log my workouts? any idea? What does everyone else do?
-
I was secretly hoping the HRM was correct :(
-
I am doing this currently Age 25 Weight 111 Goal weight 105 Height 150cm How are you guys logging the exercise?
-
I am doing PiYo too. On week 2 now. And weight loss is not my goal but being stronger is. I am already at a healthy weight for my height. I do maintain a slight deficit though for fat loss. Is it a good idea for me?
-
I just tried this, and it feels awesome. :D I have also combined PiYo and T25 so that I am working out around 50-60 mins a day along with some light walking and I actually saw my biceps peeking out this week.. I feel great!
-
ohh yes and scale havent moved much this past few weeks.. but I am noticing changes, so i guess I am happy..

What is your current exercise routine?

Nobody is being negative. People are asking you to eat more coz you are eating very less. You might not feel tired now but slowly you see the effects on your skin, health and hair and everything else. When I started I was restricting myself to 1200 calories a day and was not eating back my exercise calories so some days I…
