  • Bananas, potatotes, spinach, apricots, almonds, salmon, tuna, tomatoes. I wish they had to put potassium levels on labels like everything else. I track it also to combat elevated blood pressure. Another great source is coconut water. It's not pleasant to get down, but it has a huge amount of potassium in it :)

  • I season pork chops with whatever "Mrs. Dash" I have on hand, as well as black pepper, garlic powder....whatever seasonings you like and then bake them in a 375 degree oven...time depends on how thick they are. Ground turkey can be used in any recipe that calls for ground beef.

  • With me when it's around my ovulation (or hopefully ovulation) time I want to eat constantly. When it is time for my cycle, I get nauseous and my appetite goes down quite a bit. I'm sure it's a hormone thing.
  • You can do it!! It sounds like we are similiar. While I didn't delete my account....I leave for large periods of time and then come back. This is really a great site with great people for motivation. Feel free to add my as a friend...we can keep each other on track :). Good luck!!
  • I don't know if it's right or wrong, but I average the numbers from the machine and what MFP calculates. I figure this is at least a general idea. The most accurate calorie count is with a heart monitor. Hope this helps some :)
  • It could be hormonal as well. I know my appetite varies depending on where in my cycle I am.
