love this thread. 6 ft here, long legs, solid all around. ;) I've been sitting between 210-220 for over a year now with no weight loss luck. Although I do feel that my body has changed since biking all summer. It's so hard to find clothes!!

i usually feel like eating everything i can find. but i try not to. protein shake or green monsters are good. some kind of complex carb is also good.

I am 6 ft and weight 195, so according to the charts I looked up, that is right before the high intensity zone. If I ran with my arms moving at all, it jumped up closer to 170. I am just unsure of the calorie burn that it is registering.

thanks everyone. I was just so shocked by how great it felt. I just kept going and going. And I thought, So this is how other runners feel!

I totally think level 3 is way harder than 2. I had a hard time with level 2 for about 3 days. Maybe the planks came easier because of my background in Pilates...idk. I do know that all the jump training stuff KILLS my legs. I have to stop often for 5 seconds during these sorts of jumps and moves. And sometimes I just have…

makes total sense. when I think about the times I ate more after eating less and being astonished at the lbs coming off, now I understand why. Saving for later, also!

well, I'm sure a monitor would be a very handy thing, I just can't afford such things or a gym membership. It's all old school to me. I just don't want to log too many calories and overeat for the day or log too few because that's not good either.

GREAT job! Your hard work is paying off big time!

wearing a bikini at the pool and people saying, she has HOW many kids?

wow! great job!

I am just loving that there are so many tall gals out there. I've always felt a little odd. And I'm learning from your posts, that every body type is so different, even at 6 ft tall!

I am 6 ft tall and was 159 when I was 19. A few years ago, after 4 kids I had reached 230. I am currently down to 186 and can wear size 14. Sometimes 14 is a bit loose on me. I also went from an XL shirt to a LG, sometimes. It really just depends on your body shape and there are lots of brands that I still can't fit a 14.…

some places are saying it has to do with shoe fit and some blame posture and stride. They say to keep your feet under your body more.

work out so you can eat more. It's the only thing helping me through this week!

i used to drink a lot of diet dr pepper and now barely at all. maybe once a week. So I mostly just drink water, especially if I have cold water bottles. But we ran out and I do hate the tap water. Plus, when I'm cold, like today, I'm just not thirsty at all.
-
totally agree of course. I just couldn't find my tape measure and am too cheap to buy another, so the scale was all I had. It's also hard when everybody is using the tickers and posting their .5 lb loss all the time. Society is geared toward lbs lost and it's hard to get out of that mindset. Of course my clothes are so…

just to be clear, while I do crave some sweets, I am really just craving food. Like pizza and chips and nachos. The chocolate is not the problem. And I don't eat emotionally. I really am this hungry. Glad to hear everyone struggles with this!!
-
well, that's the problem exactly! the lack of control. I know it's coming and I'm just so tired I'm not sure I can work out today...
-
definitely no worries about increasing too fast. It's taken me months and months just to work up to 2 miles! haha.

thanks, I figured as much, but wanted to make sure!
