  • Every 2 weeks, if not sooner depends how hot its been.
  • To start, i should make it clear that i'm whats probably classified as a big drinker. hence my weight issues. 4-5 pints (2.5 litres) is a quiet drink to me. 10-15 pints (6ish litres) is a standard drinking session plus spirits. in a lot of social situations, ie dancing it gives me the confidence to be more out going. But…
  • Joining the topic late I know, but well personally: 1) Yes 2) Yes, relationships are about honesty. This is coming from someone who was a virgin until the age of 29. Not through any religious choice, not through prudishness, I just don't believe in one night stands per se. for me it has to be about a connection, not a…
  • If it's a good relationship then the people involved should be able to trust the person there with, so the two people should just continue to be themselves. If they were naturally flirty before then why shouldn't they carry on, that's their personality and that's the person you decided you liked enough to get together with…
  • Speaking from someone who was diagnosed in the past as having severe depression, if you are not able to get out of bed due to depression then it is definitely serious enough to seek medical help. Above post from Fitasticme has some good advice as well. True friends will help pull you through. Its different for everyone but…
  • the protein works mint choc brownie protein shake with hot milk.
  • To the op, sounds to me like the guy is on a power trip. He sounds like he just wants to have all the power and control. By kissing he is trying to hook you in and then not pushing it further keeps you hooked. As soon as you start lessening his control, dating etc. he gets pissed off and disappears. Once he sees an…
  • Am near Canterbury, don't really use my fitbit as much as should though.
  • Terrible news. Just shocking. Can't believe there are some people on other threads complaining it has nothing to do with fitness either so shouldnt be discussed. Just sick. Have a worrying feeling my cousin is studying in Boston, but can't remember.
  • Tonight not much. watch a bit of tv. bit of life planning/organising. Tomorrow, last away rugby match of the season, then probably a few beers. Sunday, 8km wood run, followed by a pint, then roast dinner at mums and maybe cinema.
  • Never said you did, just said you should eat to target not way under.
  • 60 miles each way, for 3 more days. then will be 12 miles each way. Peugeot estate £80-100
  • Why are you staying well below your calories? you should be aiming to hit the target. or just below not way below. That may be why you are not losing as body is counteracting it.
  • - Give up the crush on that girl. Nothing is ever gonna happen, you're great friends but from different spheres of life. - Get fit now it's worth it, you'll be surprised how much it changes. - When you're 18 you'll get the chance to go and coach and play rugby in the USA, take it. Don't end up as a 30 year old wondering…
  • Think it depends on the people involved. With my ex I am in very regular contact. When we first split there were various reasons given and then months later we had a reasonable talk about things and got to a good place, as friends nothing more expected from either side. For a number of reasons in last 2 weeks we have…
  • Currently Demand Planner, in two weeks time Advanced Supply Chain Planner.
  • You have scored 57 points. SCORE 40+ You are suffering from a condition called body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) which is translated as body hatred. This is not a reflection of how you actually look or how other people see you, because there are very many people who have physical handicap, or, who look different from the…
  • I confess don't know where am at emotionally/mentally at the moment. My dad died on Easter Sunday exactly 4 months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour aged only 62. I am obviously very cut up about that, but indirectly as a result have had major conversations with my ex regarding what happened between us which in the…
  • Yeah, but offering helpful advice and snidely criticising are quite different. I am always open to credible advice given in a helpful way.
  • Did we work at the same place?!?! Cos one of my former colleagues was exactly the same. I keep my lifestyle change etc. to myself unless anyone asks about it. My view is that like my previous unhealthy ways it was my choice and noone else needs to be told about it unless they want to be.
  • For people like that I often enjoy pointing out the obvious flaws in their "knowledge". Like with the oats, I'd point out that with many non processed foods, the longer you cook them the less healthy as it reduces the nutritional value. At other times I just dismiss them completely, just by saying well if thats what you…
  • If you could manage to eat one of those in one go i'd be impressed!!
  • Feel free to add me, no kids as yet, but fat guy trying to get fit!!
  • Try swapping sweet potato in where you would usually eat normal potato, chips/fries, baked etc. Also try grated cauliflower instead of rice. Wraps instead of bread, or even just wrap veg in meat/cheese instead of a sandwich or wrap. As others have said load your plate with green veg to make you fuller.
  • ^^^^^^Yep this. The stuff about cholesterol is overblown scare mongering. As long as you have balanced diet it is fine. True but its actually about the balance of the rest of the diet, a no cholesterol diet high in all factors can result in high cholesterol in the body anyway.…
  • Yes but going out for something different, ie the whole atmospherics etc can be seen as a reward. the rest of the time i agree its just food.
  • Its more than enough for most people. A recommendation in the UK is 30 mins exercise a day minimum, and you are smashing that so I wouldn't worry. In terms of weight loss if that's what you are aiming for then it just needs patience now, and don't push yourself too far.
  • Personally I think you're looking at it totally wrong. Eating out should be a reward not seen as a bad thing. The whole point of trying to lose weight is to be healthy and so that those occasional blip days eating out etc don't matter.
  • I think its more the reaction to the stress that causes these things. if your not careful you fall into a trap of eating or veging out to deal with the stress, or thats what I used to do. Now focus it into training, the more stressed I am, the more I go training, longer I stay at the gym etc. Like others have said have…
