i was so excited to see the 150's back on my scale, too! it's been probably 4 years since i saw that number!

Height- 5'4 Cw-159 Gw-145

i gave up ice cream for the first couple months. it didn't make me crave it - in fact, it was probably the opposite. it's still a food that i don't keep in the house though.

i'm usually over on fats, although they come from healthy sources so i don't worry too much about it. the research i've done from it seems to suggest its fine as long as it's not animal fats (meat/dairy) and i'm still losing weight.
-
i do this, too. with some strawberries or cherries - omg, it's sooo good!
-
agreed. sounds like your doctors primary concern is getting your weight down, which is fair, imo. being morbidly obese ups your chances of nearly every health issue that you could think of.

Mine have definitely shrunk after losing 20lbs, but i have another 15, maybe 20 to lose. they are still the largest area on my body... i'm hoping they become more proportional with the rest of my weight loss.
-
make sure you take them with something to eat. i used to get so nauseous driving to work after taking a multivitamin on an empty stomach.
-
eat as much rice as you want, but no bread or pasta LOL
-
i know someone who gained 6lbs through her entire pregnancy
-
yes - i am crazy about my to-do lists!

I have used it for the last 1.5-2 months and it definitely does motivate me! The rewards are nothing big (I only do the workout tracking) especially compared to the amount that I would have to pay out for missing a workout ($5 per workout). I like how you can adjust your goal for each week, too. It definitely motivates me…

i don't think i've found that is easier to lose on the pill-free week, but I do have less of an appetite that week. I've always thought it was due to cramping and a general "I feel gross" feeling though.

I've been on cyclessa for close to 10 years and have never felt that it lead me to gain or lose weight at all.
-
i'll either get a bowl and eat half, maybe 2/3 of it, or get a salad. if i get a bowl, i ask for only 1/2 the rice.
-
probably greek yogurt or fruit (loving trader joe's dried mango today)!
-
not sure if you have it around you, but if you do, try Seasons 52.
-
I mix it with a little water, cinnamon and lemon juice. Take it like a shot and it's really not that bad!
-
Yes - friends and family absolutely, definitely can influence your decisions on food and activity - but in the end, you're the one who makes the choices. My advice is to plan ahead - I am often around family who don't eat the way that I am currently and are not actively trying to lose weight so I'll try to either work out…

My boss also did IP because she was pre-diabetic and concerned about insulin intolerance. Like I said before, she has gained a bit of it back since going off IP (and I don't think it is a sustainable diet for life). I think the key is dropping the weight and keeping it off - in which method do you think you will be most…
-
Yep, that's me too. I am hoping to lose another 20ish.
-
Eat real food - everyone i know who has done IP has gained it back quickly after they go off it. Plus, the IP stuff is pricer than just eating real foods. Is there any reason for your Dr. to want you to drop the weight quickly?

almonds w/ rosemary wholly guacamole mini cup greek yogurt string cheese crackers + cheese peanut butter + celery

why not just buy a box of noodles?

i think it's fine every now and then (which is what you said you're doing). i keep cans of soup in my desk for lunch emergencies. the sodium is the only thing that concerns me but i rarely ever come close to the 2300 limit so again, i think it's fine once in a while.
-
my new fav is the trader joe's marcona almonds with rosemary!
-
i just bought the banana nut one also (but have not tried it yet). It's still only 10g of protein though.
