I put coconut oil in my first cup of the day, so I just make sure I include the calories in my daily total. It is worth it for the health benefits.

Count me in. I need a kick start to get back on track, and running from the zombies is the way to do it. You are a genius!

Sounds like a great idea! I have met my goal, but feel that I am slacking off and DO NOT want to regain any weight. Accountability will keep us all honest and on track.

I love, love, love Dr. Pepper. I used to drink 3, sometimes 4 a day. Hated water. But, I wanted to be healthy and lose my weight. So I forced myself to drink water, and cut my Dr. Pepper down to 1 can a day. When they came out with 7.5oz cans of Dr. Pepper, I could have 2 a day. But I have never cut it out completely. I…

When I mow the grass, I walk it. So I put that in as exercise - it is an acre. Also, I clean houses, and on the days I work very hard cleaning someone else's house, I put that in too. Believe me, it is exercise. The kicker is, though, that MFP takes the exercise calories off of my daily allotment. So if I am on a 1200…

You are getting really good advice. Bringing in your own food, and logging every single bite is a great start. You also have to have a good, solid "why". Why do you want to lose the weight? Remember your "why", and if it isn't big enough to stop you from eating the wrong thing, you need a different "why".

I have taken over 2 years to lose 100 pounds. I do have loose skin, but it is nothing I can't live with. Loose skin is better than the extra weight, which is so unhealthy.

I have been so busy, that I have neglected to check in. I have not completely given up my Dr. Pepper habit, but am doing so much better with other sweets. Still working on the soda.
-
Am proud of myself today - I made chocolate chip cookies to send to work with hubby, and I DID NOT eat any!!! Great start to today.
-
Days 11 and 12 done. Managed ok on the lunges today. Will do some squats and a plank later just because.
-
Thanks Sheila, I am taking a look at the balance challenge.
-
I am so glad everyone is doing well. Keep it up. I really only use artificial sweeteners in my coffee, or sometimes iced tea. So I can't say it affects me either way.
-
I am having a really hard time with the lunges. I just have terrible balance. I am working on that, because as I get older, I certainly don't want to start falling. I am doing them, though, and will continue to do so. Anyone else have balance issues? What are you doing about it? As SheilaCali said - 1/3 through. Yay.

Got a real sugar craving. Plus is hubby's bday and had to make his favorite cake. And REALLY feeling the loss of my Dr. Pepper. But, I have lost a total of 58 lbs in the last year and a half, so I know I can do this!

Just gave blood this morning, but I know by the end of the day I will be strong enough to complete day 9. It is good to already feel stronger. :) ;)
-
Yes, the plank is harddddddd. But the pushups are getting easier and I am doing them better. The lunges, however, are not going well. However, we will push on and persevere.
-
So glad you were strong bdbchick. Today I was not. I fell off the wagon and had several pieces of mini Reese's pb cups. Guess I was just tired. Back on track now, rest of the weekend will go better.
-
Days 4 and 5 are done! Yay, it helps that I already do 75 crunches a day. Hate those lunges though.

Love all the posts - and so glad to see so many people joining in. I have been drinking Dr. Pepper since I was 4 years old. I have decided that I am quitting soda cold turkey. I know I will feel better once I have the cravings out of my system. I also worked in a doctor's office, and loved the days when reps would bring in…

Welcome everybody. I am counting cakes, pies, cookies, candy, honey, maple syrup. That kind of thing. Not counting fruit, although it should be in moderation. One or two pieces a day. My office manager used to keep a huge bowl of peanut m&ms on her desk. Nobody could pass that up for long. But remember - consistency beats…

Day 1 and day 2 done. I will log in every 2 days. Let's do this people!

I figure that dumping sugar can only be good for us. Even if we don't lose more weight, we will be healthier.

I need to change things up - I am in!
-
I weigh myself daily. That seems to work for me, and of course - naked, after going to the bathroom, ha ha.

I am in. I want to increase my miles to be ready for my 10k on July 4. So, I am down for 2 to 3 miles a day, mostly on my treadmill. I also want to increase my intervals. I am 4 lbs from goal, and want to reach it by the end of the month.

I have got to find a way to kill the candy monster. I am thinking meditation and daily affirmations as to how bad candy is for me, and how much better I look now. Going to work on not having any candy for the next 30 days. Break the habit, and make a new one that avoids sugar. Any other ideas? Open to anything. :)
-
I am late in checking back in - but SW - 158.6 GW - 150 5/5 - 157 I have got to find a way to avoid candy. I am going to try meditation and affirmations reminding myself that candy is bad for me, and I like the way I look now more than I like the candy. Will take any ideas anyone has on beating the candy monster. :)

I have been having the same problem for several weeks. I actually am losing about 1/2 lb a week, but it goes up every weekend, then I have to play catch up. I am less than 10 lbs from goal weight. But I know my problem is that I am not weighing or counting my foods properly. I will work on that seriously because I am SO…

I am in! I can't seem to get these last few pounds off, I need the motivation! SW - 158.6 GW - 145 to 150

I love my bulletproof coffee. I put coconut oil in instead of butter, because it is really good for your brain. God knows mine needs all the help it can get. I also use a stick blender, then it looks just like a latte. :)
