So you are spoiled and completely taken care of, and you are expecting anyone else in your life to continue that. Newsflash... most of us don't live that life.

Oh, and I looked at your food diary - I think you are eating really well. Keep up the good work!

Have you tried adding more weights? I know that sounds strange, but I recently read an article that said that even though cardio burns more calories initially, training and building muscle actually has the effect of continuing to burn calories for longer, and therefore burns more in the long run. This article said that…

www.taxactonline.com - they will walk you through the whole thing, you just answer their questions, and the federal efile is free. State I believe there is a small charge, but you should be able to go on your state's site and efile for free there, once you have your completed federal form in front of you.

What about working your lower body WHILE you do cardio? I do side lunges with squats, with a resistance band around my ankles. If I do them relatively quickly, and a bunch of them (I go across the gym and back 3 times) I get a REALLY good cardio, and a great burn in my thighs... For warmups, when I know I'm doing a lot of…

Calories are calories and they are the same no matter when you eat them. Your body doesn't care what time you are eating. If you exercise at night, you should absolutely have a snack (including protein) within 45 minutes of that workout, as it helps build muscle.

I have my highest burns on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, typically. Sundays are a good rest day.

Depo caused me to gain a TON of weight - I don't recommend it.

I was on Seasonique for years and loved it. It doesn't stop them completely, but you only get 4 per year, and mine were SO light. I basically spotted for a day, bled for a day, spotted for another day, and I was done. I have PCOS and severe endometriosis, so I have always had horrible pain with periods, but I didn't at all…

I figure I'm already giving up a lot right now, it's just that I started a week early, and I'll be giving it up a lot longer than just for Lent, lol. I'm only a week into my weight loss, so I've made a LOT of changes...

Welcome! I just started as well (today is day 6) and I'm finding it really nice to have friends on here (especially ones around our same age) so I just sent you a friend request... Good luck on your journey!

Have you had your blood work checked? With PCOS you are probably at least pre-diabetic. Also, you could be having troubles with your thyroid (people with PCOS are more prone to that, too.) I went through a time a couple of years ago when I logged everything (by paper) - everything I ate, all my exercise - and I never…

So, I watched a show this morning that talked about this. Helpful, because I am SO wearing the wrong size jeans. They were saying to get rid of the muffin top you should take 2 fingers, place them at the bottom of your belly button, and that's where the top of your jeans should fall (for style.) Also, when figuring out…

I have a cheaper one my hubby bought me at CVS. It has a watch and pedometer in it as well and I like those features. It seems to be pretty accurate as far as what my heart rate is. I haven't quite figured out the calorie counter on it yet, but I'm happy with the monitor overall.

Just added you. I just started and have a long way to go. Already I'm getting great support from some new friends here. This is such a great site!
