  • Congratulations! I'm getting ready to start the Zombie 5K Run part of my app and I am so glad to hear your success! I already use the other during my walks (sans zombie attacks), but have never looked at the 5k part. What a great NSV and not small at all!
  • Ibuprofen, foam rolling, and baby myself a few days...that's my prescription! Feel better soon!
  • Did you even take the 5-DVD self-help course?? You're supposed to have at least FIVE Mr. Tickle mugs in the wings at all times!
  • Order Mr. Tickle Mug - check Pre-order DVD - check Send email outlining my very great disappointment there is not a Mr. Tickle Mug Crack Gap chapter. *sips tea from Mr. Tickle Mug and watches my waist shrink*
  • I love Skinny Cow ice creams! I haven't had any of the symptoms you describe, though. As far as I know, I'm not lactose intolerant, but what you describe sounds very much like it. My favorite skinny cows are the fudge bars, which you may do better with (if it's not in fact an intolerance, and more due to whatever is in the…
  • I, too, have cut sodium way down and here's a couple of things that helped A LOT: Instead of canned veggies, I buy frozen veggies and don't add salt when I prepare them. I make all my fish/chicken/turkey with Mrs. Dash instead of salt and pepper. Stopped putting cheese on EVERYTHING (I'm really bad about this!) Stopped…
  • I'd offer you some pie, but I ate it all.
  • I love Diet Dr. P! Tastes like the real stuff!
  • Agree with the second opinion. Cardiologists are good at hearts, but not necessarily good nutrition. There are plenty of lean white meats that should be able to be included in your diet like turkey, chicken, and pork. Perhaps a nutritionist that specializes in cardio health?
  • Total Dr. Pepper lover. Fortunately, Diet Dr. Pepper tastes very much like the real thing (unlike other brands). My morning is coffee, then hot citrus tea (lemon or orange) or mint, then water, water, water, water, water, water, water...then more water. I maybe have a Diet Dr. P occasionally, but always sandwiched between…
  • Cottage Cheese Greek Yogurt (my fave is Oikos) Chicken (I cook an entire bag of frozen tenderloins in the crock pot, shred it, add bbq sauce or whatever and eat on it all week) Fish (Frozen tilapia cooks in 5 minutes frozen -> done) I also add whey protein shake after I work out to boost my protein. Peanut butter has a…
  • This is all I can picture: and
  • Oatmeal flavor is wonderful (in cookies and breads), but the texture makes me yak. I can't stand how it feels like it's supposed to be crunchy, but is mushy and soggy, instead.
  • My skin is better just because I'm hydrating properly (I suspect). I not only drink a ton of water every day, I moisturize pretty religiously so my skin can keep up with my weight loss. Also, food intolerances and allergies can definitely affect your complexion.

  • I'm pretty sure it reads 2 tbs, not pounds. :flowerforyou: ETA: (I can't seem to get all my thoughts in one place today at the same time..haha) I absolutely LOVE crunchy peanut butter. My whole family is yakked out by it, but omg, I can eat a whole jar in one sitting, if I let myself.
  • In my humble opinion (and FOR ME), protein and fat macros are minimum and carbs and sodium macros are maxiumum. > Fats are healthy for you (as long as you aren't consuming gallons of lard or something equally bizarre!). Fats don't make you fat all by themselves. > MFP builds in the deficit already, so if you're exercising,…
  • We stood in line for HOURS in 1977 to see A New Hope. I am Star Wars all the way (reboot of Star Trek is brilliant, too, imo). Also, not a dude. So, I'm just bewildered.
  • I've always said you can't eat corn, you can only borrow it. I put everything down, even if the calories are negligible. This is just a great way for me to have an educated idea of portions and what I'm putting into my body.
  • My NSV is that, after a highly stressful month of familial injuries, ER visits, and health problems, I have managed to maintain my weight without gain or loss for a month. This is HUGE for me, since I have always had a real issue with portion sizes and calorie consumption. Now that the stress levels are diminishing, I'm…

  • Industrial strength plastic drop cloths, 12 boxes of saran wrap, and heavy duty black trash bags.
  • Do you plan on eating oatmeal every meal for the rest of your life to keep that weight off? If not, then I suggest a nice, balanced, varied diet with exercise. Eat some food and be healthy. You'd be surprised what a few pounds off with a healthy glow can look like. Don't think about "right" and "wrong" foods to eat or…
