I've spent many hours on my elliptical during the winter when it was too cold and snowy to walk/run outside. I've lost almost 80 lbs. I have it set up in front of a TV so I can put a movie in the DVD player and forget I'm working out!

I am also real close to my goal (7-10 lbs., depending on the day :p ) I have been exercising more, but having trouble keeping my eating in check. My stomach is being stubborn and won't go away. I have gotten to this point before and not quite made it to goal. I will get there, it just may take awhile!

Anyone can add me. I started at 230 and am down to 160 with at least 15 lbs. (haven't decided on a final goal weight yet) to go. Soon to be 49.

I started losing weight in June 2013, joined MFP in November 2013 but didn't start logging consistently until Jan. 1, 2014 (245 day streak today). I've lost 70 lbs. total, 50 in 2014. I have about 15 more and then transition into maintenance in 2015.

I am down to the last 20 pounds to goal. I know from prior attempts that this is the hardest time for me to stay on track. I put on a turtleneck for the first time this winter and it didn't feel like it was strangling me all day like it did last year!

Don't quit eating them completely. That will only make you want them more. Use protein and veggies first, then add a serving of carbs. The protein and fiber makes me satisfied for longer than the carbs, so I miss them less. I find I tend to choose what will fill me up better over the carbs after a year at this. Good luck.

I was in Walmart this weekend and I found a pair of size 10 jeans for $3 and M (8-10) workout pants for $7 on the clearance rack. I started a tight 16 and am currently wearing a 12. I took both into the fitting room and they both fit!

My legs. I have been walking a lot and they have gotten very slim and toned. Still working on my stomach. :(

I got an elliptical for Christmas last year. The first day I got on it, I tried going too hard, too fast. In 10 minutes, I thought I was going to die! It took me an hour to catch my breath. I couldn't walk for 2 days after. I can now do 45+ minutes without a problem!

SW: 229 CW: 168 GW: 145 That puts me just inside a healthy BMI. I plan to re-evaluate when I get there and decide if I want to lose more or just concentrate on lowering my BF%.

I am wearing regular width shoes instead of wide width!

I use Walkroid (for Android). It seems to be accurate and has a power saving mode so it doesn't use the battery when you are inactive and it has a widget so I can see my steps and distance without having to open the app.

I was putting my makeup on this morning and I realized my cheeks actually sink in a bit beneath my cheekbones and I can almost see my cheekbones!

I had a coworker tell me she didn't recognize me this morning. Sort of scale-related but I also realized I now weigh less than I did when I got pregnant with my son 21 years ago!
