Here's mine, approx 140lb difference between the two pics.

Well i've managed to get the full 10lb off in just over a week, happy now! Haha, now onwards with my progress.
-
Haha that's not too bad is it! Soon have those off!
-
Almost identical to myself, guessing it's merely bloat and water weight that we have been holding!
-
Oh don't get me wrong, i don't regret anything I put in my mouth or the nights out with friends, that is what that time of year is all about. It's how you bounce back from that that matters :)
-
Managed to drop 5lb of them already, glad it was just bloat really!!
-
It is definitely good to know I am not the only one who has gained lol but I have been at it for long enough now to know that it's simply bloat (read..'good time weight') and will be gone in a couple of weigh-ins anyway. Definitely had a great time this festive period and it has shown but onwards and upwards (or downwards…

I signed up to a $50 8 week program from Instagram back in January and had good results from that. I know I could have found the same information on the internet for free but the support via email and regular check ins and accountability made it worth it to me.
-
Thanks for the comments :) Quite proud of the progress!

No 1800 isn't high at all for your weight, you don't want to be in the mindset that you need to eat 1000 or 1200 calories in order to lose weight, it will just have a detrimental effect on your progress.
-
I have done this before with good results, I ate 2 meals one at 9am and one at 5pm then trained fasted on the mornings, it takes some getting used to but it rewards you.

C4 pre-workout, BCAA 4:1:1 during, banana after lol

Ideally I eat my goal weight in lbs converted to grams, which is 224lb so i try for 220g of protein. Obviously different goals and circumstances to you but really not that hard to eat 100g of protein, for example 2 chicken breasts is going to be approx 80g, handful of nuts a couple of times a day, cottage cheese,…

Thanks guys...yes it's an awesome feeling when you put the old gear on and realise that you HAVEN'T gained loads and loads overnight, because sometimes our brains make us think that if we miss a gym sesh or eat a bad meal etc! I love feeling so much better, and still cannot believe that at one point those jeans were skin…
-
Most definitely! Those 100+lbs are NEVER coming back!! Strict calorie counting and brutal boot camps are ensuring that! :)
-
Thank you :) Hopefully never need these jeans again lol but they will be nice to try on now and again!
-
Exactly what I wanted to hear! Thanks mate. Thank you everyone for your responses :)
-
I'd say don't add any since the fat already came from the bacon?
-
Haha :) Well i've had a few people come up to me in the gym today and tell me I am an inspiration which is really nice! Actually made me want to train more afterwards, as well! This leaflet is delivered to every home in my town, so this could be my 15 minutes of fame haha
-
Thank you guys :)
-
Thank you and congrats on your own progress, awesome work!
-
Thanks guys, it's definitely motivated me to keep going! :)
-
Well I finally started tonight after having to delay due to a sore knee... First fit test and I sweat a lot more than I expected and needed to rest I think 2 times but I feel GREAT now :D Can't wait for Day 2!
-
Thanks everyone, it's exciting reading everyone's thoughts on it! I start next Monday :) Hopefully i won't have quit by Tuesday lol
-
Awesome guys, i really can't wait to get going. I'm hoping to last the full duration but will see how I go!
-
My goal is to be 224lbs and I would like to achieve this by January 1st. This works out at just over 2lb per week, which is more than i've been losing lately but i'm going to give it a go :)
-
I was doing 60-90 mins cardio 4 or 5 times per week before I started Insanity, now I am just sticking to that program.
-
Anyone else got any advice? Still in two minds...

Thank you for the advice :) I am currently about 250lbs actually, I just don't want to aggravate my knee again. I have already waited a week to start it, so i'm super-ready to get going lol, but of course I am trying to be sensible also (For once...!) Hmmm...
