I had the polar Ft7 and sold it, it seemed accurate enough but the last thing I wanted to deal with when I was working out and sweating was feeling the chest strap moving around, it just wasn't comfortable (for me). I am going to ask for a fitbit for Christmas. I think it would be interesting to have just to see how much…

I use to be that way because I eat out of boredom, go outside move around, find a "project" to do around the house if the weather isn't cooperating... this is the 1st weekend I haven't blown it but MAN I have 1 organized kitchen and its so clean I don't want to cook and mess it up!! I think the key is to find something…

feel free to add me, there is also a group in specific for Christians you might want to look in to.

I have been on this site almost 3 years but could always use new friends.... I don't suppose I have a goal "size" to be... just want to be healthy and be around to annoy my 3 teenage daughters well into their adulthood!

if you have a Walmart near you right now (until the end of October) their rotisserie chickens are on sale for 4.98. You can't even get a whole raw chicken for that. You can get a couple uses out of one chicken. I use it with pasta or rice, in a wrap, or if you like salad you could bulk it up with some shredded chicken and…

welcome, feel free to add me, I have logged in daily for over 2 and a half years although sometimes I don't get a chance to comment on a lot of posts, love to have new friends with a lot to lose (like myself), I have gotten some really good idea's and learned a lot of things from friends on here through trial and error!

I like beef jerky, air popped popcorn with some dry ranch seasoning on it, I know almonds can get boring but they are easy to keep at the desk and eat on the go, I like atkins bars but you would have to really watch any of those kind of things if you have a peanut allergy even if they don't have them in it they could be…

I'm in, I have tried it on my own many times but have never been able to get past the first week. Maybe having group support will help me!

I get by with a lil help from my friends:wink:

have you tried looking on youtube? I am afraid I'm not much help because I can't stay motivated working out from home on my own so I walk with a coworker at lunch. Have you tried sweatin to the oldies or similar dance videos that you could incorporate some weights in to?

T2 here since 2007 but until January was controlled by diet and exercise.... I am now on Bydeuron injections weekly, Januvia and invokana daily. Make sure to reset your daily allowances of certain things... for instance MFP sets your daily protein goals way to low. I am down almost 40lbs since January and A1C is down from…

mix in 2 tbs low sodium taco seasoning, spread onto thin yellow corn tortillia's (warm them up a few seconds wrapped in a paper towel in the microwave to make them flexible) sprinkle some salsa and fat free cheese on top and roll them up, put a toothpick through them to keep them in place and put in a 350 degree oven until…

I use to get some from the fitness bootcamp I attended. It was a powder you mixed with bottled water (kind of like crystal light packets) they were around 60 cals but had 15 grams of protein in them. Were around $10 for a box of 7 and I really liked them but was a bit pricey for me to keep using them. I would be interested…

one day at a time or it will frustrate you and eventually become to much, and ignore the jackwagons like the one above, avoid the negative

I was just thinking the same thing... I need more fun people in my life since there is less of me and my fun self lately!

I work til 5 then after my commute home most nights everyone else is finished with dinner before I get here so I often do "single serve meals" my best investment has been my George Foreman grill. I can do frozen shrimp, chicken breast, fish ect very quickly on it. Add some veggies or single servings of rice and it's pretty…
