Really great advice! I like the comparables with other restaurants that may have similar food. I guess I could do it like balancing my check book--round up to be conservative. I'm so excited that I can eat there again lol.

Thank you. That is extremely helpful. I'm going to do that. I'll increase little by little and let myself get used to it again.
-
You're probably right. I probably just used too much. I'll dial it back next time.

I'm probably at a 25. Looks like I've got more work to do...a lot more work to do.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll have to go get a medicine ball or something. Budget won't let me get a gym membership, but I think I can afford a medicine ball lol. The progress pic was nearly a month ago. I've not gotten around to making another one yet. The BMI thing on here says I'm at 26.5%. The slider was…

Thank you! :)

My workout times are usually directly after dinner. I usually start at about 8pm my time and go for an hour and twenty minutes. At first it sucked, but now, it makes me sufficiently tired for bed and I tend to enjoy it more.

Oh, if I misspell something, especially a word which I tend to misspell over and over, thus providing evidence that I really think it is spelled that way, I would be thankful for someone to correct me. That goes for my fly being unzipped, mustard on my shirt, or any such embarrassment.

I don't doubt that she was very appreciative of your intervention lol.

Well, that person is management material! We'll need them to speak with Lumbergh.

Thank you. I've decided to grow some thicker skin and make good use of the "Ignore User" button lol. I've made some great friends on here so far and they've been so supportive that I really am much more comfortable now than I was before. Feel free to add me if you'd like to.

What a great idea! I'm going to do this!
-
You can make it and when you have to drop the money on brand new clothes, you're going to feel so good.

I like the stand-up office idea. I'm trying to figure out how to configure my keyboard to accommodate that. I don't fidget, but I do like to try to pace as often as possible, but it tends to make my co-workers nervous lol. I'll continue doing what I feel will create results and makes me feel better during my day, but will…

For all of those wondering about the shivering. You can burn up to 400 calories an hour by simply shivering. http://www.livestrong.com/article/317620-how-many-calories-are-burned-by-being-cold/

Dude! THANK YOU!! I do not have lumps and they never hurt. Oh, man, you just gave me the best news ever. A beer (or preferred alcohol) to you. Seriously, thank you.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and the encouragement.

To clarify: I don't do this in the place of regular exercise. I do it as an addendum to exercise, to keep my body moving. Now, judging from two comments already that have been either snobbery, or mockery, I believe I am done with the "community" portion of this website. I get enough garbage from the people in my life…

I'm glad that I could make you laugh! And thank you for the wish of good luck. I appreciate it, really. Have a good day!

I always spill my drink. No matter what. If I go on a date, which I haven't done for years, I will, inevitably, spill my drink. It's probably a law of the universe or something.

Same here. I work at a desk so, if I don't do these little things, I feel like I've sat in a blob for 9 hours and have done nothing constructive.
-
Oh, that's a good one! I may start doing that lol.
-
Fantastic job!! You look great! I know looking at those pictures side by side, must make you feel ridiculously good...as they should.

My favorite K-Cup of all time is the Donut House Coffee. It's a good robust, dark roast with a strong flavor and it's just what I like to start my day. I drink it black, as I do all of my coffee, but I assume that it would taste pretty good with cream and/or sweetener, if you prefer that. If you like dark roasts and strong…

Welcome to the site, Crystal. Six days in is a good start! You're going to do it and you'll be so surprised when you look back to 40 pounds ago and think "wow, I did it!" I wish you the best of luck on the way to your goal.

Thank you, Mr. Knight. I will look that up. I'd really love to run a 5k at some point. Most of my co-workers do it and they seem like they're a lot of fun.

I just became really tired of avoiding the mirror before a shower in the morning, or catching women giving me the "oh god, he looks awful" stare. This coupled with the fact that I just turned 35 and realizing that sooner rather than later, my unhealthy eating habits were going to catch up to me in the form of an ambulance…

Thank you all for the suggestions and advice. I don't log very well right now, because I just recently joined the site on a recommendation from a co-worker and still don't really know what I'm doing yet. I don't really own any exercise equipment and have been meeting my exercise needs by using pushups, situps, crunches,…
