  • Its water! Only weigh yourself once a week in the morning, either wearing the same thing or nothing at all. If i weigh myself in the middle of the day i'm 2lb heavier because of liquid and food. And depending on what you have eaten the day before you can carry water, such as foods with a higher salt intake. I weigh myself…
  • Yeah due to water retention. I can increase between 0 to 6lb from about 5 days up until 3 days after it starts. It's not been bad rrecently. Make sure you drink a lot of water to flush your system. I use these herbal water tablets for the week before and during my period. Think they work quite well.
  • How old are you? You definitely don't need to lose weight. But if you are 17 or under then people saying that you are hugely underweight are wrong. Don't lose any weight maybe gain a little? but I wouldn't worry about your weight if you feel it's natural. And don't listen to people saying you sound young and immature.…
  • Look on every label for calories, eat clean not just little. Try to be more active and weight your food. There is no way you are not losing on 800 if you've only really just began your diet. Go to 1200 or do what I did at the beginning and work it out for a week. 8400 os 1200, meaning you can have 1000 then 1300 then 1200…
  • I know! Its so frustrating, I've lost 1lb in 5 weeks. I just keep 'saying don't rush you've got ages' but its so annoying, I'm so sick of it now, and with it being so close haha
  • Thanks good to know :) no you're not being rude haha, actually I agree with you (one reason I find it hard to stick to a a diet) but I work with horses and want to go into racing, so its important to keep at a low weight. But I might not need to go that low (hopefully) it depends I just have to be under 9 stone 9lb with my…
  • Obviously nobody has ever told you about your metabolism slowing down once you have gone past your natural weight. You body will get tired of losing weight and stop. You need to speed up your metabolism to keep losing weight (been told this by a professional by the way) yes I weigh my food, no I'm not eating more and I…
  • Well for me, I weight myself once a week once I've woken up after I've peed and before breakfast, naked or just in underwear. At the doctors I weigh myself with clothes on after I've eaten breakfast or even lunch, often with shoes on. The last time I weighed myself at the doctors I was 70kg there and 68.2kg at home. I'm…
  • My god the things people say haha (I'm not having a go at you just the people that try to explain weight and fitness and healthy eating and get people so confused) No muscle does not 'weight more than fat' if you're talking about physical weight but neither does feather and a brick, a ton of feathers and an ton of bricks…
  • It sucks I know. I haven't lost in 4 weeks now! But I'm eating more 1400/1600 and I trying that out for a month or so. Make sure you stick at a new diet for at leased 3 weeks preferably a little more, as it is unlikely to work straight away. I recommend just going really slowly at about 0.5lb a week. Don't stress about it…
  • If you tone muscle then it will just pull in fat, but if you do squats ext it will gain a bit of size. I ride horses as my job so have quite a bit of muscle, I used to think ot was fat but it still didn't really bother me. Then I had major surgery on my knee and had massive muscle wastage on one leg. And it was SO SKINNY I…
  • I've had major knee surgery on my left and are sue to have the second one done on the right in june. (I still can't to a lot of cardio due to having screws sticking out of my bone so it kinda hurts, they wont be removed until 8 months or more after the second one so its a while to wait) The first 6 weeks I don't diet after…
  • I first began just looking at calories I began at 1300/1400 but then went to 1200/1300 calories. However looking back I was probably only eating about 800/1000 calories (bare in mind this was accidental) I started eating healthy (getting rid of biscuits, fatty pizza and cutting carbs) once I'd started eating a bit more. I…
  • Thanks! I'll definitely do that. It was really getting ridiculous how tired I was, so having others say its okay to eat more really helps xx
  • Wow! Congratulations on the weight loss! That's encouraging for me :D
  • Thanks! I'm looking forward to not feeling guilty for eating an extra bowl of oatmeal haha. Good luck to you too!
  • That's fine the profile thing is only because I've had a lot saying why do you need to go to 126 :) how much were you eating before and how much now? (I know it'll be different for me but I'm just curious) xx
  • I vary in size a bit but I'm 137 and my measurements are 35 26 36 (I'm also 5'7ft)
  • First off. About starvation mode. Its bull s*it. I have spoken to may health specialists and there is no such thing. yes you're metabolism slows down but it will never slow so much it causes weight gain. If that were true we wouldn't have world hunger or severe anorexics. It just doesn't happen. So don't worry about that…
  • 34DD/E at 172 and now I'm 34D at 137. Not huge difference but I do have big boobs, I mainly lost weight around my shoulders, arms and hips. I have hourglass body shape. My measurements are 34DD (or 35.5inches) 26.5 36
  • Me. Lost 33lb out of my 44 and never cut carbs. As long as I don't go over my calorie limit I'm fine (and eat pretty healthy of course) I still eat potato, pasta, bread ext. just as they are relatively high calorie I eat them in moderation. Cutting carbs never works as a diet (well I've never met someone where it has) if…

  • I'm an equine student atm, but finish in early june, i am working with racehorses as a groom atm but i don't ride. i want to star exercising around early next year but i want to do flat racing so the weight is low, most jobs ask for a maximum of 60kg but that is including whatever you've eaten, riding clothes, boots (that…
  • No, but the person on it can ;)
  • Congratulations on doing so well! You can do things like sit ups and weights to tone but unfortunately cardio isn’t really an option until you have recovered, assuming you don’t want to do more damage. But don’t panic, just eat carefully, its nit a bad injury, you should be up and about in no time. I understand how you…
