Have you lost weight by eating more?

Basically I struggle with the eating more part of dieting, I still need to lose weight (10/11lb) to get to 126lb. I have noticed I'm tired ALL the time atm and I haven't lost eight in 4 weeks now. So I finely think I'm in the right mind set to eat between 1400-1600 a day to lose instead of the (utterly ridiculous) 900-1300, considering I have a physically demanding (all be it part time) job and I'm 5'7 and 137lb. So has anyone here lost weight by upping their calorie in take but eating clean.
I have a year to lose the last 11lb and have lost 33lb so far.
Just to say if anyone thinks that 126lb is too skinny for my height and says I'm not fat (you're right I'm not) please read my profile and it'll explain.

I haven't looked at your profile, I'm just answering the question - yes, I am losing weight by increasing calories. MFP set my deficit under my BMR. I struggled with that, and figured out TDEE based on my fitbit and now eat a minimum of my BMR to TDEE-1000. Too big a deficit creates issues. I was stalled for most of February (I was eating very little the first week at the end of my Whole30). Now it's coming off much more easily and I'm in a better place to eat what I want to eat and plan.0

Hello, I have just decided to up my calories today as MFP has said that I should eat 1200 per day. I have not lost any weight at all, not an ounce and I am struggling with 1200 on non exercise days so going to increase. Hopefully this will work as it seems to work for others so maybe it will work for us. I know when I did Slimming world I was eating a lot more than I am now and lost weight so here goes.....good luck0

That's fine the profile thing is only because I've had a lot saying why do you need to go to 126 how much were you eating before and how much now? (I know it'll be different for me but I'm just curious) xx0

Thanks! I'm looking forward to not feeling guilty for eating an extra bowl of oatmeal haha. Good luck to you too!0

I started like everyone else 1200. After two days, I was like no...and then I researched.
I went up to 1400....after the initial 7 lbs I wasn't losing much. So I upped again to 1700.
Lost 5 lbs since (which was about 2/3 weeks ago)0 -

MFP set me at 1750 without exercise calories. My BMR is ~2100 (per different calculators, that is the average). My TDEE is anywhere between 2800 and 3500, depending on how active I am that day, but generally hits about 3300 as a weekly average. I try to eat between 2100 and 2300 calories per day, or more if I exercise significantly more (not a problem this week, so I'm watching calorie intake closely).
I've been averaging 1.5-2 lbs in the last two-three weeks since I upped my calories. I was totally stalled before that and not monitoring caloric intake before that.0 -
What you need to do really does depend on your goals, but I would lean towards eating more because readjusting to higher calories for maintenance can be an issue. And if you are hungry, your body is trying to tell you something, imo. So, yeah, eat some extra oatmeal and maybe an egg or two.0

Wow! Congratulations on the weight loss! That's encouraging for me0

Thanks! I'll definitely do that. It was really getting ridiculous how tired I was, so having others say its okay to eat more really helps xx0
