I had the same issue when I first got my HRM. What I do now is strap it on (wrist) and just before my workout starts, hit the start button and take your pulse. I also check mine after every interval and when I'm done a HIIT 20, I burn about 600 cals. Its frustrating, but just keep playing with it and you'll figure it out!

I have recently lost about 7 pounds, and while people have been saying for a while that they notice it in my face, my shoulders and my arms, I still didn't see it at all. Then I woke up one day and noticed my boobs were smaller. Since then, I notice it other places too.

I would also suggest Turbo Jam....much of the same moves, lower intensity, but still an amazing workout. I am on my 4th week of Turbo Fire and still find myself scratching my head going "HUH?" but as long as you KEEP MOVING, I think that's the most important part. Stick with it!!!

I agree...I am 5'9.5 and I was once just under 165 and I looked (and felt) sick. For me, 170 is perfect.

to be honest, I never did really break it down...I was only looking at the mid-term goal to be under 200 pounds and seeing that in 5 weeks I'll still be over kinda freaked me out. but now that I have heard it, and double checked on my calendar, I realize that I *may* have had a premature freakout over nothing :S

I have used the Shred,and I like it. It's short (only 30-ish minutes) but its a good workout that leaves me feeling like I've done something.
