When I fell off the wagon I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made. People think I'm mad and that it's disordered eating or something but the difference is so noticable.

I remember being 50kg as a teenager. I was only 5'1" but my school almost had me sectioned because they decided I was too thin. I was made to sit with staff for 3 meals a day and force fed. safety is the biggest concern for me. I looked up the route I wanted to take and found lots of news stories about women runners being attacked, stoned and shot at by street kids and sexually assaulted. Decided the treadmill was a lot more appealing.

I was dumped for a model with a 23inch waist. She will probably be dumped for someone younger. These guys only want what other people value. So they really only value the opinions of other men. Maybe they should just date those other men whose values they love so much?

Squishy is fat, firm is bloat. You can get scales that measure body fat % which are usually pretty accurate. :)

I have a shock absorber "run". Took me an entire day to shop for a bra that doesn't make me feel like I'm dislocating my shoulders to get into and out of. This one opens at the back, the top clasp is tricky so you have to have a strategy to put it on.

I think I see your point. Some people shy away from activities that they see as intimidating. And zumba is less intimidating than Rugby.
