  • Way to go! I just got my lab results back today as well! I haven't been in several years and my liver functions were always high. In fact, I've had a liver biopsy done in the past. Well now my liver functions are perfect!!!!
  • I had never had saffron before, or paella for that matter, so sounds like I don't know what I'm missing!!! : )
  • Wow! That is so wonderful! My daughter is 20 months old and I'm hoping by the time she is old enough to notice her weight and body type that she will already be physically active and eat the right foods so she doesn't grow up with the weight issues I did. Way to set great examples for your family!
  • Way to go! Very inspirational!

  • I'm 5'4". I've lost 20 lbs so far. I was down 23 lbs and told myself when I lost 25 lbs I would take "during pics" to compare to my before pics. I lost focus for a couple of months but am back on it! I have 5 lbs to go before I take my "during pics!'

  • Great post!!!! It's just what I needed! I was down 23 lbs. I told myself once I lost 25 lbs I was going to take more pictures to compare to my before pics. For some reason, the past 2 months I haven't been into it at all. I'm only working out 1-2 times a week and I'm not logging my meals. Yet, I weigh myself all the time…

  • I'm part of a biggest loser competition at work as well. There are over 200 people in ours and the top prize is over $800 cash! When I signed up I KNEW I was going to WIN! I lost 5,3 lbs my first week, which was just about 2% of my body weight. HR sends out the standings at the end of weigh in day. When the first week came…

  • I agree about the Heart Rate Monitor! I just got one a couple months ago and have noticed a big difference in my workouts. I want to push myself harder to get my heart rate up and to burn more calories. I love it!
  • I have an 8 month old and work 7-5. So I have to get up at 5am already so no chance I'm going to get up any ealier. Luckily, Jazzercise has childcare. So I workout from 5:45-6:45. We usually get home about 7:15, I feed her, play with her for a little but, bathe her, stortytime, then bedtime. I do feel like I am depriving…
  • Congrats on your sweet baby boy! I too just had baby. She is 8 months old. I started going back to jazzercise when she was about 10 weeks old but always had an excuse to come home. About 2 months ago, they added childcare to the 5:45 pm class. I now have no excuse not to go. I know how exhausting working and caring for a…

  • I eat 1/2 non-instant oatmeal everyday, no sweetner! I ually mash a banana or blueberries in it. My newest way to fix it up...I put Emerald's 100 calorie pack cocoa roasted almonds in it. It feel me up and is so good! You get your protein from the almonds, and the cocao adds sweetness to the oatmeal.
