Rice caked with peanut butter or almond butter topped with dried fruit (I like cranberries but rasins would be good too.)

Welcome! Feel free to ad me. I've just gotten started in here again recently.

I think planning out meals is a big piece of staying on track. I also try to prep dinner on the weekend and sometimes can go a week or two with meals that are all prepared in my freezer! Makes life so much easier. Good luck and I would love to hear how it goes.

Congratulations!!!

Every morning but I only log my weight once a week.

Congrats on getting back on track with logging your food. It sounds like you have a realistic idea on how to eat... Moderation is the key. Best of luck to you!
-
My best advice is to set reasonable goals. Otherwise you are setting yourself up for failure. 1-2 pounds a week is doable. If you are down 15 pounds at a minimum you will feel so much better and that will give you continued motivation to keep working at it. Best of luck to you !

The short story is my workout schedule was intense and hard to maintain. Once I wasn't working out the bad eating habits came back slowly. I didn't like to see how that looked in My food diary so I stopped logging instead of making changes. Now that I know what happened I think I can stay on top of things this time!

Medication and stress are awful when it comes to weight loss. Hopefully you can push through it since you recognize what's going on. Glad to help support each other!

Exercise was my go to stress reliever for a long time. Not sure how it switch over to snacking, lol. But the weight sure did come back quickly! I made up my mind that I just have to do this, glad I'm not in this alone

1000 days! That's awesome. I think I made it to just under a year at the most.

I am 5'2" as well and have been on the same path as you with gaining weight over the last few years. I think it is very much a matter of calories in calories out. And now with all this excess weight I have to up the calories out. I am going to add you, let's support each other! PS Planning meals was the biggest help to me…

I have been up and down with my weight overt the last 15 years. This list is awesome, reminds me of all the things I have to look forwards to as I get back to a healthy weight.... Feeling my collar bones was one of my favorites. Thanks for the reminders everyone!!!!

Me too (except the getting married part, lol). I lost a lot of weight with tracking my calories and exercising but I have lost my motivation and gained a horrible amount of the weight back. I need motivation and would be happy to do the same for you!

I was not in good shape when I started P90X last year and was able to complete it. I did modify some of the moves in the beginning to fit my activity level, but stuck with it. I also know some people who paused the dvd so they had more time to complete the moves/reps. If you have bad knees/joints the only workout that will…

My old office was located between Subway and The Dollar Tree. I was a frequent purchaser of 3 cookies at Subway (it does seem very cost effective to buy 3, lol) or a bag of candy from The Dollar Tree.... A good prices is not always a good deal

Sometimes we should have the things we enjoy... I think the more you try to cut out certain foods or say "I can't have that" the more we want them. Next time just buy one cookie and enjoy it. P.S. Don't beat yourself up over this. It's done, you'll work out extra tonight and start over tomorrow

Last night I took my starting photos and loaded them on the computer. I pulled them up next to my photos from round 1 which I took exactly 5 months ago to the day. I know my body has changed but to see the side by side comparision was unbelievable. It was the motiviation that I needed to make sure I stick with this for the…

After the first couple of weeks in my first round of P90X I knew all of Tony's corny little jokes (and so did my 10 year old). After 2 months off I started up again last night and guess what..... I still know all his lines. P.S. I have also tried it with just the cues and got super bored too... the things we suffer through…
