  • I do have the two synched but they never agree. I am not sure if I should go by the calories that MFP is telling me I have left, or the calories that fitbit tells me I have left.....
  • Hello. My girlfriend started an organization for Binge Eating. It is BEDA, Binge Eating Order Association. Maybe you can get some overall support for binge eating at her website. Am I allowed to post a website here? If not, just google BEDA and look for it.
  • I don't really look at the sugar either. Just as somebody else mentioned, I drink a lot of milk and that alone would put me over, then add some fruit .......... When I started this process, I thought for sure sugar WAS my problem and that cutting it out would help me lose. I have never paid attention to it and have lost 15…
  • I have found that with eating out also. I think I am making a healthy choice, only to get home and look it up and find out it was terrible and t hat something like the fried chicken sandwich would have been better! You tried! I always wonder, WHAT DO these restaurants do, to make the foods so high in calories?????????
  • Thanks, Sniffles. Those are good tips!
  • So what do you do if you've exercised that day and just aren't hungry enough to eat your exercise calories?
  • I am curious why you think 1,300 calories is too low? when I first let this website calculate my calories it came up with 1,200. I quickly determined there was no way I would stick with it at that. So I manually upped it to about 1360. After your comment, I went in and ran through the goals again, thinking maybe with my…
  • THanks - your responses make me feel better.......like I don't need to call the doctor tomorrow or anything, just need to eat! Believe me, I eat MORE than 1600 calories at least once a week. We eat out alot on weekends and I am certain my intake is high those days! I don't drink enough water either, so I am sure that…
  • Raw carrots and cauliflower Homemade smoothies with all fruit and yogurt - yum!
  • I am a complete REAL maple syrup snob myself. It is just something I wont' give up. And, unfortunately, I like a lot of it. I do homemade pancakes only on occasion and I just know that my breakfast will be way over on that day. I have tried to cut back on the amount of syrup a bit. I have been known to pass on any kind of…
  • I think I also did it at 400 degrees but can't remember!
  • I have the same problem. I just really don't even like water. I can go ALL day long and not drink anything, and then at bedtime I drink 2 big glasses. I don't and won't do any artificial sweeteners ~ unfortunately, about 90% of what makes the water taste better and be more appealing adds those sweeteners. Maybe some…
  • Very good points, here. I will try my best to at least eat some fruits and veggies and snacks, even if not whole meals. Although I do have to fast twice next week......aughh, that will be tough. I may just pig out afterwards! Thank you all for your support and very kind words of support.
  • I used to drink 1/2 gallon a day in high school! Hope I have good bones!
  • I probably drink about 2-3 cups a day.
  • What about sugar that is in milk? Should I ignore that also? I drink a lot of milk and it puts me over my sugar.
  • I wish I knew too. I crave something sweet every night after dinner, and it is usually IMMEDIATE. I keep Hershey kisses on hand, at least they are small.....
  • I don't know if this site is any more accurate than others, but I found this specific to Chinese food http://www.cspinet.org/nah/chinese.html
  • That is me almost every day :( I went out to shovel snow today just so I could not feel as guilty eating dinner tonight.
  • Oh I really like this idea! My mom switched to half and half and keeps telling me to try it......I bet some dark choc chips wouldn't be nearly as much sugar, I'll try it!
  • Thanks for thee ideas........I think some of you may have missed the part where I said I don't (and won't) do artificial sweeteners....so that means I will not try any of the sugar free ideas. Hopefully they will help somebody else though! At this point I will try the honey and cinnamon and maybe the silk....although when…
  • I've been wondering about the Greek yogurts. I tried one with honey that was pretty high in sugar (most of them are and I do not do artificial sweeteners), but it was tasty! So they are generally healthier? Why?
  • Good question. I have noticed the same thing. I am practically at my daily sugar just with my cereal (even healthy ones) and my coffee creamer (which I am SLOWLY cutting back on).

  • I was over my daily sugar allowance today with just my coffee creamer and one cookie. I think the cookie information was wrong though........... It's hard, especiallay when I refuse to do artificial sweeteners so my sugar IS going to be higher.
  • I am finally glad to have found some other people who feel the same way I do about artificial sweeteners. I avoid them for my family at all costs. I don't trust Splenda just yet either. And I have a really big beef with how they are 'sneaking' them into all kinds of products......you need an extra 30 minutes at the the…
  • Congrats, Katie! I understand - and this is truly the one thing that motivates me as well! I was doing the treadmill just twice a week for only about 4-6 weeks......when I tried my shorts on (this was back in November) for our Disney trip and they actually fit comfortably, I was so thrilled! Way to go!
