Does anyone have a good idea of the calorie count of chinese food?? Specifically Chicken & Broccoli and Wonton Soup?? There are soo many different calorie counts in the database, and I've looked it up on the internet and there are even more different calorie counts. So i'm either waaaaay under my calorie goals, or slightly over before my nighttime snack.. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

  • When you can't get any nutritional info, I find it best to focus on portion sizes. When I ate Chinese last, I avoided unneccesary carbs(RICE) and just ate my dish (Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce). I roughly figured the shrimp calories out and added a couple hundred calories for the light sauce.

Focus on eating light sauces, so your meal choice would be a good one. You could roughly guess the ounzes of chicken and figure calories that way!

Good luck and enjoy it! And remember...NO FRIED STUFF or calories triple!

I don't know if this site is any more accurate than others, but I found this specific to Chinese food http://www.cspinet.org/nah/chinese.html
