Carrot noodles. Love em.

Polar watch wanted it sent in because of the water tight seal. Youtube and a $4 battery later - done. And done 3 more times over 5 years, still works today.

I was in the same b Same. The more I read the more it's clear it's marketing and you can get what you need from balanced nutrition. I wish I asked this years ago.

MR_L33 lists a nice DELL. i5 (not slow), 8GB ram, 256gb SSD drive. I'd get this one for your needs plus it would do so much more.

Depends on if I have time before or after work. If I don't I'll suck it up and squeeze it in during lunch. Edit: I should add, it's still not my first choice.

LOL. I joined the Y to swim also. It's cheaper than any other gym in the area with a pool.

https://flipbelt.com/ Works great. Keys, phone, gel's, bib number attaches to it when racing, etc.

No, I'd be surprised if I'm burning over 100 calories in 45 minutes of lifting. Seeing as in that 45 minutes it's probably 10 minutes or less of actual lifting if it was back to back to back.

Instapot Pressure Cooker. 30-40 minutes for 3 pounds. Impossible to take it out without it shredding as you pick it up with fork, tongs, etc.

200mg caffeine pills. Cheap. https://allstarhealth.com/f/bodystrong-caffeine_(200mg).htm

Most gyms offer a free consult. I'd speak to staff at your local gym and explaine what you just explained to us. They should be able to recommend a good starting point. It's quite possible you are doing enough already. Go over any medical concerns, goals, etc. I'm sure they will have some good questions to ask you also to…

Ditto, also my mom on occasion. Midwest / Wisconsin thing? Not sure.

This doesn't help you now, but going forward here is what I buy which may help. MyProtein Vanilla, pretty lite taste for sweetness. I had to mix with chocolate protein to make it sweeter. There is also unflavored. Rated spots 1,3 & 9 @ labdoor. Protein Rankings

Most people are there just to get their workout in and leave. If you want to blend in here are my tips: 1) Wear appropriate clothing. I notice people in Jeans working out, Beats vs earbuds, flipflops running on the treadmill, etc. Someone in a tshirt and athletic shorts/capris/yoga pants, regardless of the size, I may…

My wife battled insurance for years which wouldn't cover it until her doctor started documenting all of her issues (neck, back, divots in shoulders, etc) for 2 years before they would cover it. I think it was around $12k of which $2k was out of pocket. Not to mention all of the DR Co-Pays for the 2 years prior every few…

It was a great tool for me on top of an OCD like exercise, stats, and data minded person I am. Seems more fashionable accessory for my wife

Same.

As others have mention but I will add. 1) Find a local running store. Not a big box a real running store. runnersworld.com/store-finder 2) Take your existing pair of shoes that you run in so they can see the wear. 3) Take socks you usually run in (hopefully running socks) or purchase a good pair at the store. Ask them to…

If you enjoy, it do. If you see results - bonus. You're doing more than everyone sitting on a couch.

I swear by this stuff. Got a 3 pack, but each bottle lasts me roughly two years. Just starting my second bottle. 200 sprays = 100 uses. Never foggy. https://amazon.com/Jaws-Quick-Antifog-Spray-1-Ounce/dp/B0012Q2S4W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492432551&sr=8-1&keywords=quick+spit

I have them also, it's a bummer, but I may try to get a tattoo cover up. I also got a bunch from lifting on my biceps and shoulders and heard from other lifters that 'every tiger needs to earn their stripes' so that made it much easier to accept.

When my uncle had his jaw wired shut after breaking it he blended everything. Steak, Pizza, etc.

^^^ This ^^^ I can swing +/-4 pounds a few times in a week. Tuesdays and Thursday I work from home. I drink a lot less water those days, so the following morning, man am I retaining water. My watch which was loose the night before is strangling my hand off the next morning. And it may take another day or two for my body to…

I got a free 60 day sample. I'm using it instead of Glucosamine for anti-inflammatory benefits. I run, bike, swim, and weight lift almost every day. My body doesn't seem to know the difference between the two. After a month, still running like a well oiled machine.

I used to eat them for years AND made everyone around me suffer. (Evil Laugh) HA HA HA

Lapse of judgement caused me to sign up for a IronMan in June :/ .

My wife and I have used a BodyBug, Fitbit Flex, Fitbit Alta, and now I use a Garmin 235. I really like the Flex (used 2+ years) but once the Alta came out, I got it for my wife. It was such a great upgrade over the Flex. I can't recommend it enough.
