First of all - congratulations! As a former smoker, I know how hard it is to even get to the point where you're comfortable to quit, never mind the actual quitting. I'm quitting again currently and it's a real struggle to quit and avoid binge eating. In the past, I would drink ice cold water every time I had a craving to…

Honestly, I'm a wine lover myself. Wine is wine... Just make it fit or hang your head in shame for going over (that's what I usually wind up doing :'( ) If you're looking for a different drink, vodka sodas with EXTRA lemon are my go to. Or, if you're able to trick yourself, sometimes just club soda and lemon can do the…

This is accurate... If she says you're hot, you're hot.

I used to smoke and after I quit, gained quite a bit of weight without really noticing. 50 pounds later, it's certainly caught my attention. Not sure how recently you quit, but I know that for me, food was my outlet and coping mechanism for the cravings. Once I realized what I was doing, I learned to find something…

This would be my bet as well. Sodium sticks with me forever. When I'm stalled and there's no obvious reason, a quick check of my sodium level tends to answer the mystery. Perhaps try limiting sodium and doubling up on water for a couple days. Alcohol and sodium are hard to budge without a ton of water to cleanse it out.

This. I used to be in a similar situation and wasn't able to eat regularly or properly. One thing that helped bolster my calorie load (and also my energy level) was having peanut butter (sometimes a lot of it) whenever I needed something to carry me over. Keep a tablespoon and jar in your locker and whenever you feel like…

Feel free to add me. 27 and learning how to be responsible while still living a tasty existence :)

This is true. I suffer from chronic hives, as well. Part of it is genetic (mother, grandmother, great grandmother...) and the other part is anxiety/stress related. I take Lexapro daily and Zyrtec at night and it makes it so that I don't have such bad attacks. Even with this, I still get hives daily. It's only noticeable to…

It's true. Taking a bathroom selfie makes archaeologists of the future VERY wealthy.

I find if I make my face look very emotional and look at the mirror like it's someone I'm trying to avoid, magic happens...

Yes! Definitely this. Plus, I'm usually so full after Thanksgiving that the weekend after is pretty light.

LOL Heard that this morning. Made me laugh, but then thought.... He might be on to something.

Definitely agree - Pilates and Yoga are some fantastic, low/no-resistance workouts... They can be modified for nearly any injury. I have two bummed ankles that I sprain constantly. In times when I've been rehabbing (and even times when my ankles are strong), I always come back to pilates and yoga because they are so…

You have support here! I'm in the process, myself - seeking to create a healthier lifestyle for myself. I'm 27 and have been gradually spiraling out of control since 25.... I managed to gain a solid 50 pounds on top of the ten I was trying to lose. Feel free to add me

27 - no kids... no fur babies :( (my bf and I are debating the pros and cons - fortunately, I have an unending list of pros in the fur baby department). Feel free to add me :)

I've had mine for a few months now and I LOVE it... Definitely open to adding more teammates.

Hi! I recently purchased my UP band and am having so much fun with it! Now I just need to add some people to my team. Feel free to add me on here and on UP (I like being tied in on both for accountability) :) UP name is Emily Harubin

Hi Erika! First of all, congratulations on your new baby! I just got my UP24 last week and love it! I definitely could use more cheerleading friends on the app though! Just sent you a friend request - Emily Harubin.
-
Hi Jessica - just got the Up24 today. Love it so far, but could definitely use some teammates.... I can't seem to figure out how to add them!

I'm in a similar situation - I'm 5'4" and 187 pounds and aiming to lose around the same amount as both of you. I haven't fully committed until recently and would love to have some accountability buddies to work with! Feel free to add me!
