I didn't fall off the wagon, I dove. I ate, drank and was merry. However, as of today, I have started back on track and there is no looking back. It was definitely tough getting back on the treadmill, but I'll be back in the zone before long.

Thank you all so much. I know they're my friends and I don't want to abandon them. I just do not want to be a part of that lifestyle anymore. I find the temptation too high in bars / pubs and all I can think about when I'm there is how sick I am of salads and water. My self-control and discipline just seems to go out the…

While I am not extremely knowledgeable on the subject, I have read that IF you can keep it to just one glass of red wine per day, there are a lot of benefits. This is as a result of the antioxidants present in wine. You will get similar benefits from dark chocolate (in moderation) and green tea as well (and plenty I'm sure…

I just did my first c25k this morning. Definitely not easy. Great job on your first week!

Name a few of your favourite bands and I'll see what I can do.

Thank you all for your replies thus far. A little bit more background on myself - I have been exercising regularly for a few months now. I just did not have the diet portion down so I didn't see a lot of physical changes. I recently tweaked the diet to less than 100 carbs and under 2100 calories per day. I have gained a…

I'm new here and also have 100+ to lose. It feels amazing to eat right and exercise daily though! Just think that every time you choose healthy food over junk or exercise over watching TV, you are extending your life (and its quality)!!!! Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm kind of like a fat (currently) Tony Robbins. I…
