I know, for me, it works to weigh myself once a week - usually Mondays. MFP isn't one of those diet plans that restricts your favourites which is why you shouldn't feel guilty about eating something you like. Don't stress and remember to try to keep active as much as possible, Calories in vs. calories out seems to be the…

Hi Brittany, Sounds like you're starting where I did back in March -I'm 5'6" was 143 lbs (starting mfp). The first week was a big drop but I was skinny fat - Looked okay in bigger cothes but when the;y came off - watch out - cellulite and rolls and not a pretty sight. I chalked up the first couple weeks of weight loss to…

My friend once gave me a piece of fantastice advice. - (With 3 young picky eaters - I hate to waste food as well) - she said I had a choice of either wasting the food in the garbage OR wasting the food on my hips - IT'S ALL ABOUT CHOICE!!!!! Good luck on whatever you decide. I know I still sometimes struggle with tossing…

My son was born with one on his chest and the doctor said it would be gone in about 1 year. He is now almost 3 years old and it's still there and now about the size of a nickle. But no worries - my cousins had very large ones on their head and the back of their necks. Their's did eventualy just shrivle and fall off (like a…

Thanks for posting about your hubby. My husband is always saying to me that it's the basic calories in and calories out and says it's fine that this is consuming my routine right now, but soon it'll have to change. Ugh!! I guess we expect our husbands to react the way our girlfriends would or mfps would. My husband just…

I'm doing the 30DS right now and I think it's great. Someone replied to take your measurements first and I definately agree. You'll see inches and your shape changing more than anything. Mind you, you will lose the pounds too, it's just not the bigger change. Good luck with whichever you choose.

I totally agree with having your cheat day the day AFTER your weigh in. Psychologically, you're giving yourself the coming week to, obviously drink more water, and stay on track. If you feel like you really over did it, then just push your workout routine a little harder. sorry but there doesn't appear to be any type of…

When I first started mfp I used the circuit training (general) to calculate my calories burned, but I do have New Balance heart rate monitor which shows calories burned and I LOVE it. It offers more accuracy but the general circuit training is really great as well and with the 30 day shred the toning and shape changing are…

I mix 1 can of tuna with the juice of half a fresh lemon and add pepper. This really does taste great with fresh spinach in a pita pocket or arabic bread.

Wow, I just did my weigh in on Friday and it was the last day of my loving cycle. I didn't budge on the scale from the previous week and yet worked my butt off, so I thought. I wish I had posted this question back then because instead of taking my cycle into account I decided to show my scale what it really takes to gain…

WOWWWW!!!!! You have to be sooo proud of yourself. You look amazing. I've been doing the 30 Day shred for a little over 3 weeks ( minus my slump this weekend) UGH! You have now given me motivation to push myself through and give it my all for 20 minutes. Thank-you for your pics - you're not only helping yourself but thanks…

I've been doing the 30 Day Shred for 20 days now and, as per Jillian's recommendation, I use 3lb hand weights and if you're working on a hard surface ( tile or hardwood) she recommends a matt for a cushion between you and the floor for cetain moves. Good luck!!! It's honestly the best video I've ever purchsed. And there…
