  • I've not eaten gluten for 10years. Then my doc said I needed to get 'retested for celiac. In 4weeks I've put on over a stone and it's miserable!! Only 2weeks left now and then I can go back to feeling normal
  • sorry it is juice and soups! much better for cold weather ;-) the doc just prescribes more pills or says just cut out the foods or dairy can't get to see a nutritionist
  • I drink Alrpo, and coconut dream (and the almond milk one diamond something), but that's because I'm severely lactose intolerant. I am not a huge soya fan but alpro is alright! I use the alpro cream to make proper custard from vanilla/eggs and it's AMAAAZING tastes just like normal :)
  • I want to go wine tasting with you too!

  • wow people's attitudes on here have been pretty shocking. Someone is asking for genuine input on a genuine health and eating regime. There are lots of differents ones and far more dangerous ones about so how about some constructive comments instead of tearing into people. We're here to support eachother, not bash them…
  • what the hell, I'm in!

  • i finnd that i'm also sensitive to the GFF breads/wraps - i do wonder if it's a sensitivity to the additives or preservatives too..hmmm?! in general I make a lot of salads and use sweet potatoes a lot as i LOVE them. Also a HUGE fan of the arla lactofree range - i love the cheese, the yogurtts are AMAZING, and it was…
  • hey hey just seen your message and I am exactly the same. can share some of the ideas of things that I use and eat that are pretty good. I generally eat a lot of vegetables and meats. love using tamari sauce (gf soy) to make things richer in taste. so lots of oriental foods. tonight I made a poached salmon thing:…

  • OMG NoeHead!!!! I've been trying to remember the name of that song for ages! heard it everywhere when i was travelling in mexico over christmas and couldn't find the name!!! ahhhhh i'm now dancing around to this !!! thank you!!!
  • I wouldn't want my spouse looking elsewhere, it's more the fact if he's got money to burn then why not spend it together! I remember having a very long argument with my ex about his going to strip clubs - his reason for wanting to go was to be able to just talk to girls without having to give them the money. If they…
  • ha thanks guys! I'm not a big drinker, so that's not the issue (maybe one or two beers a week). Currently in Hawaii - spent the last 6 months working/living in mexico (so I know the problem there will have been something to do with late night tacos). I've been working as well as a diver - so it's a mix of diving in the…
  • ahhh so glad I found this - just finishing reading tonight - even doing the exercises this evening ready for a full day tomorrow. Was at the dr today and got weighed then we went round and she said sorry did yu see the number on the scale - I repeated it to her and she said oh that's what I thought but I just didn't…
  • personally - I actually quite like the taste of the soup - so I make it up and put it in freezerbags so when I come home from work and need something quick whilst cooking dinner instead of snacking I shove one of those in the microwave.
  • haha yes don't worry I move my backside a lot - also have to work and lift freaking heavy steel tanks ! cutting back on the beers to one or two a week as a special treat already been here 3 months doing research on the barrier reef and freaking love it so much! wish I could stay for longer ...
  • Currently living in Cozumel - an island off Playa del Carmen - I'm a divemaster here, so diving 2 times a day in strong currents for an hour at a time plus walk a couple of miles a day. Before this I was living on a very basic diet of rice and potatoes and had a bad spat of ill health so think that didn't really help much.…
  • I think whilst it's embarrassing or shameful for the one the question is being directed at - it must be MORTIFYING for the person who asked it. especially mums with kids :-D
  • you look amazing and your ink is AWESOME!! congrats to you hun - you look great! you should be so proud of yourself!
  • yes i do - that way it makes me really think about what I'm putting in to my mouth and body. and if you look back after a binge it helps you to not do it again, or in my case i looked at things before I at them, then figured if the calories and fat were really worth it. I try and log everything, so do that for a night out…
  • All these suggestions have been really helpful - thank you everyone! you all rock! to anyone who suggested dairy I'll try non dairy alternatives to those, though to be honest I've been struggling getting used to soya. For those who've said I can check out their diaries THANK YOU as well it makes a big difference to 'see…
  • hahahahahaha
  • Ah yeah - should point out as well before any further suggestions - I'm coeliac and lactose intolerant - so rules out dairy and wheat products. Defo need to start having my eggs in the morning. It was just something I hadn't fully thought through and probably explains the excessive aches and pains! Thanks guys
  • Current weight 156 - having looked at my tracker for the past month I've gone over 50 only about 5 times, it seems to be bobbing mostly above/below 30g. I think I've probably just stuck to a lot more plain veg and soups, and been a lack of fish and eggs so will try that, and made add in a handful of nuts to boost it up.
  • I do - I used to fluctuate up to 7 or 8lb in the few days before but it would all go again after. :-)
  • I've just discovered Tiffany and she is AWESOME!!!
