  • I didn't get my workout video in yesterday, but I did stay under calories and got close to my 10,000 steps. I am down a couple of pounds as well, so I'll take it! I'm excited for Sunday's weigh in; although I put my numbers in already I will update Sunday if the # is lower. ;) Goals for today: Get my calories Run C25K At…
  • I am back on track almost 100% after dealing with the kiddo's health issues. Not excited that I fell off the bandwagon, but I'm trying to remind myself I'm back on & that's the important part. Goals for today: Hit my calories Workout video Get my water goal
  • I finally logged a full day again, so I'll take that as a win. Although I didn't make progress toward my weight goal for the weigh in (sorry that was a bit late!), I didn't gain either. Another win considering everything that's been happening. My goals: 1) Continue to log, as that seems to be one of the most challenging…
  • My goals for today are pretty menial: to log my food, and to get 10,000 steps. It's been a rough few weeks with continued issues with my stepson. My little win for today will be logging all of my food. :)
  • I've been struggling for the past week with the kiddo in the hospital, but yesterday I reached my 10,000 step goal. I will weigh in tomorrow morning (I usually weigh in first thing in the am & forgot today), and log my weight in the spreadsheet then. Back on track. Let's do this!
  • Just finished week 6. I still don't "enjoy" running, but I do enjoy the weight loss I'm seeing. Feel free to add me! :)
  • Gained 1 lb since the last weigh in, but I know precisely why. Too much stress, too much gin, and not enough activity. Back on track after the weekend, though. Even got my run in yesterday! My goals for today: Drink at least 12 glasses of water Eat enough, and eat healthy Get 10,000 steps
  • Yesterday was ok for me. I didn't get week 6, run 2 of C25K in last night, but I also started week 6 a day early. I will get my run in tonight as I do not work both jobs. My other goals for the day: Get my calories, but stay within carbs. Reach 10,000 steps, with 5,000 before I leave work this evening Get my water (at…
  • Bring on Day 16! My goal is to get C25K week 6, run 2 in. It's been a hell of a week with behavioral problems with the kiddo. I have to work both jobs, so I'm going to be exhausted at the end of the day, and I'm not a morning person so I'm not sure I'll be able to get up early enough to get the run in before my day begins.…
  • Today was tough due to issues with kiddo. I did fine on calories, but I didn't get my steps in. This is only the second or third day I haven't met my goals, so I'm trying not to be too hard on myself. Bring on day 15!
  • I didn't check in with the group over the weekend, but I did log all of my food. Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I did week 6, run 1 of C25K. Feeling great. I've already reached my steps for the day too. Patiently awaiting the post for Tuesday's goals, so I can get them down.
  • I struggle with not eating enough on weekends, so my biggest goal for today is to exceed 1000 calories. Started with a decent breakfast even though we went out to eat. I have my mini-meals & snacks planned for the rest of the day since I have to work the retail job. I will get my run in today, C25K week 5 run 3, as I'm…
  • Day 10 went well considering how many obstacles I encountered (issues with the kiddo in school, sick puppy, crazy day at work, and lots of little things that went wrong drove me crazy). Stayed well within my calories, and I got week 5, run 2 of C25K in this evening. Weigh in went well this morning too! Goals for Day 11:…
  • My weigh in will be tomorrow morning, but I'm finding a great deal of accountability in writing down my goals the night before. I am still approx 700 steps from 10,000, and I am ok with not making it all the way as I got up this morning to do a workout video. My goals for 10/2, besides the weigh in: Run C25K week 5, run 2…
  • Met my goals yesterday -- C25K week 5, run 1 wasn't as bad as I remember it being a few months ago, so that's a win. My goals for today: Get a morning work out video in - check Get 10,000 steps Continue to eat fairly "clean," which is almost a check because I cooked food for the next few days last night. :) Way to go…
  • Yesterday I didn't make my steps or get my workout video in, but I did stay within my calories & get all of my water so I'll call it an overall win. This evening I will do week 5, day 1 of C25K, so I will have no problem getting my 10,000 steps for the days. I will get 5,000 steps before I leave work. Stay within my…
  • Got my 10,000 steps in for Day 6! I didn't do so great in getting my calories throughout the day, and I felt a little pressure to snack on some more dinner after dinner so I wasn't too far below. I know everyone's goal is to remain below calories, and most days that is mine as well. However, weekends always catch me off…
  • After a late check in for day 5, here's to planning for day 6! I DID get my run in. I think the fact that I've written here in front of people is a great accountability tool. I work the retail job tomorrow, so getting my 10,000 steps shouldn't be a problem. My biggest goals for tomorrow are: Eat enough calories. Plan:…
  • Weekends are always hard for me. I always eat too much, or not enough. Today was not nearly enough, and I still need to get a run in. I also fell way behind with my water goal earlier today, so I've been pretty much chugging water since 4 pm. Should make for an interesting evening. My goals for the remainder of the day:…
  • It's 10 pm on Day 3 in MT. I am SO tired, but I am going to get my run in in just a few minutes. Excited to see what 10/2 bring! My goals for day 4: Stay on track with eating -- although I am splurging on sushi for lunch Get my 10,000 steps, which is going to be challenge since Friday's are usually slow at work. Friday…
  • FINALLY ADDED MY STUFF!

  • Met my goals yesterday, even though I was called in to the retail job because someone was sick. I was dead tired when I finally got home from an 11 hr work day between the two jobs, but I still took the fur babies for their mile walk. Since I couldn't do dinner before going into the other job I snacked on almonds…
  • I told someone on Sunday that I just took my last "before" picture. I'm working hard on lifestyle changes -- getting more active (C25K, walking the pups on off days, and AdvoCare's Can You 24? workout series), eating "cleaner," and eating fewer calories, in general. I'm doing a 10-day cleanse right now (I am eating, I…
  • Went a little over (200) on calories yesterday, but it was mostly good eating even when the parents invited me out to dinner. I got my run/walk (C25K, went back to week 4 to re-focus) in, and I kept to my cleanse plans. Day 2 goals: - Get 10,000 steps - Eat well -- this one is going to be hard because I didn't plan my…
  • Although it's almost dinner time here in MT, my goals for the day (and the next 99) are: Eat clean and healthy. Not a HUGE calorie counter, but I know there's value in watching them. Run 3-4 days/week -- C25K. Tonight is one of those 3-4 days of running. Get my 10,000 steps Celebrate little wins, positive self-talk…
  • Hi, I'm Kayla, and I live in Billings, MT. My goal is to lose 20-30 lbs by 2015. I just started the AdvoCare Herbal Cleanse yesterday, and I'm doing C25K. Once I finish that I will start 5K to 10K. My goal (another goal) is to run a half-marathon in 1-2 years. Lots of clean eating (little sugar, as little processed food as…
  • I'm doing C25K as well, and I love it. I hate running, but I want to run a half-marathon. I've had to take the past 12 days off due to a back injury, but I went out last night, and I only had to backtrack 3 days. Tomorrow is my first 5K, and although those two weeks off got me off schedule, I'm excited. I plan to start the…
  • I love accountibilibuddies! I need lots of them too! I do well for 10 or so days, and then I stop tracking and, of course, the pounds that I lost come right back. I'm starting a clean eating AdvoCare cleanse on Monday, and I'll definitely need support staying on the bandwagon after the 10-day cleanse is finished.
  • Suggestions for base layer & layering for running in the winter? I have access to a treadmill when it's icy, but I want to be outside this winter as much as possible. Is Under Armour brand a must, or what other brands would runners who experience all 4 seasons recommend? I know I'll need to invest in good gear to be safe;…
  • I'm also training to do a 5K, and eventually a half-marathon. Couch to 5K is a great program! I hate every second of my slow running, but I just keep reminding myself that it's better than not getting off the couch. I also get really excited when I see the inches & pounds fall off! From Montana. Excited to have some people…
