  • This ^^ I can't afford to buy fancy things like I used to and replace fresh veg every 2/3 days. So I stick to stuff like pasta, frozen/tinned veg, tinned fish, soup etc and eat less of it. It helps to drink water or tea frequently, as that fills you up. Things like chicken and turkey breast are a luxury to me. I wish I…
  • Oh wow. That's put it in a way I haven't thought of before, very clever! Will have to think of that next time I'm craving :)
  • Hey, I'm 22 and my current goal is to lose 30 pounds before the Download festival in June! Feel free to add me! I've been on here a while, but fallen off the bandwagon many...many times. Got a good feeling about this time though, I have something to work towards!
  • Since you're on the second floor and don't want to make noise through jumping etc I'd suggest doing other forms of cardio which doesn't make so much noise! You could use a hula hoop, do air-bicycles (whatever they're called!), or invest in an elliptical machine (if you have the money!) :)
  • Not that fond of them, but I'm slowly working towards MAKING myself like them! I did the same with tomatoes, and now I can't get enough of them :)
  • 1) Family and friends & my dogs! 2) Catching the bus on time and not having to wait. 3) Finding bargains & saving money. 4) Feeling how loose my clothes get after losing weight 5) Music 6) Chocolate...or perhaps just food in general :o
  • The same happened with me when I had a digital scale. It was fairly accurate in my previous house, but since moving, mostly everywhere was carpeted. Each time I would step on the scale it would have a 10lb difference each time, so frustrating! I changed the battery, still wouldn't work properly! So I bought a non-digital…
  • Hi, I'm Aimee, looking to find some friends on here :) I'm trying to lose weight/become healthier, easier said than done! I've been with MFP for a while, but I stopped tracking and gained some weight back due to a traumatic family event. So, I'm starting fresh and hoping this time I'll go even further!
  • Were you exercising this much when you were consuming 1400-1700 cals a day? I know you haven't included your current weight, but perhaps 1200 cals a day is too low for you, you may be right about going into starvation mode. If it is right for you, then perhaps you should give it another week and see what happens. If you're…
  • Being quite shy, I doubt I would compliment someone in my local gym unless I knew who they were. I have no idea how people would react these days. I wouldn't react badly to a compliment given to me. I would blush and probably deny whatever they said, but I'd feel good overall :) It hasn't happened yet, people in my gym…
  • Hi :) I originally started at 295 and lost 20Ibs two years ago, now I'm back on the horse and down to 264, my lowest point yet :) would love to follow you on your weight loss journey x
  • Metal fan right here :) finished my workout on an Arch Enemy high x
  • Haha oh dear yes this happens a lot :) it actually happens with my scales at home, instead of variances between two scales. I weighed myself on Sunday, then out of curiosity, a few seconds later I did it again and I lost 4Ibs in those few seconds! I then weighed myself a third and forth time and it was DEFINITELY the…
  • I'm also trying to lose over 100Ibs :) I've sent a request x
  • Request sent :) could do with some MFP friends on here myself!
  • I guess everybody is different. I had implanon for 3 years and had it renewed in December with Nexplanon. I've had no issue with weight gain/loss. The only issues I had was mood swings and significant reduction in libido. Also, my periods stop for a long period of time. On implanon it was a year before I had one again and…
  • Thank you all for being helpful :) x
  • I can't tell you how much this motivates me to do the same :') x
  • I generally stick to Skimmed milk. I'm not a massive fan of milk, I don't add it to hot drinks and the only time I have milk is when I have oatmeal. I have done the switch to unsweetened soya milk, but it was wasted since I don't use a lot of milk in the first place. So I just stick to plain old skimmed :)
  • Hello, I'm Aimee :) I'm from Cheshire also! I'm planning on losing 140Ibs, it will take a while but I'm determined :) I've always been a big girl but I want to change that! x
