Cream crackers and coffee helps me along as long as I don't have the crackers on my desk.

I did 5:2 a couple of years back then went on to 4:3 I lost almost 2 stone. I've put some back on since stopping but no where near as much as I lost. I found it resonably easy. Keep saying I'll go back on it but finding it difficult since I moved in with my oh.

I always take December off I never seem to have any time on the run up to Christmas then go back in January. Last year I had talked a friend into going with me. Stick with it, once the endorphins kick in you will feel great.

Well done for taking that first step. It gets easier each time you go. I used to worry about what people would think then realised everyone is too busy doing their own thing to notice me x

After years of not eating breakfast, I have finally had to give in due to my medication. I've found that it depends on what I eat. If I just have toast or cereal I am hungry by mid morning. However I have discovered porridge. It seems to fill me all the way to lunch time, and then I am not always hungry.

Hi You've already took 1 small step by joining MFP and hopefully many more. I know how easy it is to make excuses but stick at it. One thing I was told was that if you fall off the diet/exercise wagon, don't beat yourself up, it's just one day. A blip. Get back up and on it the following day. I really should be staying off…

I did 3 months with diet and exercise and got my blood glucose down, but it was still recommended to me that I go onto Metformin for the other health benefits. As much as I don't like taking tablets I figured prevention is better than cure given my family history. To top it off, my cholesterol is high so as of next week…

Do you like jelly? There are some jelly pots with fruit that count as part of your 5 a day. Also smoothies or fruit juice.
