My brother in law had the same problem and now wears his around his ankle and it seems to be more accurate. I have a Garmin Vivoactive tracker/watch so wearing on an ankle isn't an option :)

Result! - Managed to keep it going until the end of the month and lost at least 4kg (9lbs) in the process. Bring on April :) March 31st Me = 11* LNS = 0

I use a Garmin Vivoactive as a watch/activity tracker/GPS and more. I think it's great and worth keeping in mind but at £150 it'll blow your budget.
