Well its been a week now and weight is exactly the same. Its not that I was worried, I was simply highlighting that 4 days into a new diet I normally see the scales moving in the right direction, not up and was simply asking for advice on my diary before I continue with wrong choices.

Thanks all for your feedback. I'm definitely not eating too much, if anything I think Im eating less. I've been to body combat, circuits and attack this week and my scales are exactly the same on day 5. I am looking at reducing my sodium intake, I found that made a difference in the past!

The way I think about it is, you can spend the next 2 years continuing to gain weight, be miserable about your size and put yourself at more risk or, take positive action, set small goals and make a change for the better. Try being in the UK, my team (Celtic) managed to score their 3rd goal in the 90th min of the game to qualify for group stages in the Champions league after being 2 nil down on aggregate. It was a very beautiful moment.

Thanks for the comments. I eat due to lifestyle, always have been since I was 10, would struggle to introduce meat to my diet now.

I think this is the best advice, not everything works for everyone ALL of the time. I am a vegetarian therefore struggle with protein intake and cutting out carbs! :(

I felt the same for a few weeks. Throbbing headaches with the rise in blood pressure. I put it down to not exercising as intensely for so long. It did go away after a few weeks though and is worth sticking with it!

I use peppermint cordial if I am out and have heartburn! Nothing is as good as omeoprazole or ranitidine though :) x

What they simply mean is that they could have a look at your diary to see what you are eating and when etc. I have found making my diary public the only way to get true feedback. I had that feeling just this week! Even though I was sooo disciplined last week and saw over 4lbs of a loss, I still didn't believe it. I'm actually scared as I can't help thinking it will go back on next week etc, horrible! x
