I was diagnosed with ulcers (but for some reason one of the medicines I was given is also used to treat gerd which I seem to have some of the symptoms of). When I was sucking on some peppermints earlier, it seemed to help my stomach, and I've read about peppermint oil capsules helping with stomach issues. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Peppermint (herbal) tea is awesome for an upset stomach or heartburn.

I use peppermint cordial if I am out and have heartburn! Nothing is as good as omeoprazole or ranitidine though :) x

Peppermint certainly helps an upset stomach. That said, do not use it without talking to your doctor since it can cause issues.

I have IBS and in the past I took tablets that had peppermint oil in, as perscribed by the doctors and these did seem to do something - but it may have also been what I was eating. Give it a go for a bit and see how it goes.
