Mine was when I went out to buy new clothing for work...to find myself in a size 16!!!! I used to be a size 5 in my 20's and most people thought of me as anorexic! Wow...what a wake up call. I am now into a size 8 to 10 (depending on the clothing) and trying to get myself into a six! the other straw for me was not…

I love, love, LOVE all of my Beachbody DVD's. I have Chalene Extreme, TurboJam, Turbo Fire, (All by Chalene Johnson) P90, P90X, P90XPlus, P90X2, 10 Minute Trainer, (All by Tony Horton) Insanity, Assylum (which is Insanity 2 and I haven't even attempted yet!), Rockin' Body, Hip Hop Abs, (all by Shaun T.) and I think that's…

Not sure if this will help or not, but I took a quick peek at your diary and it looks really great. I would suggest trying to move your protein and carb ratios around. Try getting about 40% of your calories from protein, 30% from Carbs and 30% from fats (especially since you have some weight training). Also, I would…

THANKS LADIES! You guys are awesome! Perfect tips...I will look into getting some of those products! (In fact, I already have some of them too!!!) Cheers to all of you! :drinker:

No, that's not what I'm saying. I do a quick run under the shower, but I only have one hour for lunch (when I workout), so I do not wash my hair as redoing hair and makeup would take most of the hour...I want my workout to take most of it! So, anything that helps with a quick re-do of the look is what I am looking for! :)

Does nobody have a tip to share?

Oh...and just in case you don't know where to start looking...try Beachbody.com. They have about 30 different sets of DVD's...I own most of them...and all of them are wonderful programs!

I can totally understand how you hate working out. I do too! In fact, I failed highschool gym class! My advice to you is to find the workout that makes you happy. For me, I discovered, sort of by accident really, that I LOVE lifting weights. The heavier the better. But I tried about 20 different sets of DVD's. Tried the…

K, here goes: I take: L-Carnitine, CLA Magnum Heat Pro Lean 8 Protein (tastes super awesome!) Iron (I am anemic) B12 (Also B12 deficient) Vitamin D (Double dose as I have MS) Calcium (also double dose, as the only way to absorb D is to take it with Calcium according to my neurologist) Vitamin C Green Tea Extract and a hair…

I am planning on starting the program in two more weeks. I want to finish the program I am on now, which is Chalean Extreme (great set of DVD's and I highly recommend them!) But, I would love to be added if you want another friend! Looking forward to lifting heavy in the near future!

This is my second marriage...first lasted 12 years too long...this second one though...feels like we just met yesterday! We have been together 15 years this April, married 11 years this September. I love him more every single day. Just when I think I can't love him any more, he does something wonderful and sweet and…

You look AMAZING! What a great job! Way to go! And yes, you are an inspiration!

Oh...and one other thing...from that book I've discovered that I am a weightlifter...not an aerobics bunny! :) Thought I loved my aerobics...I was really, really wrong!

I highly recommend getting the book "The New Rules of Lifting for Women". Women often think that there is a 'difference' between men and women, but there really isn't much of one (other than the obvious ones, we carry more fat, we carry babies etc.) This book will show you what to use in the gym and what not to use. A lot…

Crap...I'm at work crying now...

Pay it Forward and Hachi - A Dog's Tale. Hachi had me and my husband SO heartbroken that when we watched Save the Last Dance (by no means a tear jerker) we were both crying again at the end of it! Hands down...Hachi first, Pay it Forward second!!! Sniffle...I have to go now...sob...

Awesome job!!! You should be so happy and proud of yourself. I have done TF before and am now doing ChaLean Extreme. Love all of Chalene's programs. I want to rise and feel no pains! but at my present weight, I can’t eat grains. So grant me strength while eating just veggies, to exercise more, so that I can treat myself to just a few tasty.... calories.
-
I'm 5'7" too...started at 193 (GULP!) but I'm down to 176. My goal is to be just like you! Keep up the awesome work! You definitely look bikini ready to me!!!! *wolf whistle* :flowerforyou:

Thank you ladies. As you all know somedays are just harder than others. I have been making sure to measure not only the scale but my measurements as well. Unfortunately for me, the measurements all stayed the same except for my biceps and thighs, which both gained size. :( I know this is actually muscle, but it is still…

These are AWESOME...thanks for the uplifting giggles! Please post more!!!!! (My husband made me hold 8 pounds of butter...same effect as the potatoes!!!!)

It's like everyone says on all the other blogs...you may not be taking in enough calories. Just keep it up and the pounds will eventually follow. The best measurement of your success is your measurements! :)
-
Thank you for sharing your story. I was actually at a point today where I thought to myself that I should just give up. I have not had any success in weight loss or inches lost in over two months. I have at least 30 more pounds to lose and NOTHING is moving, except some of my measurements are actually going the wrong way…

I think everyone goes up a bit with TOM but, eventually you even out again. After a few weeks of eating good, you'll find you aren't craving the crap anymore...just keep at it and be vigilant! :) I stay away from the scale during TOM!! ;)

Good job! Staying positive and patting ourselves on the back once in a while is how we achieve our goals! You seem to have both actions hands down! You will make your goal!

No matter what you are feeling, it is not stupid. I have worried too that maybe I won't be "me" anymore. But, I've learned that I will always be me...and you will be too...just a "hotter, healthier" version! Sometimes, the new "me" is better!!!
