  • Eurgh, I feel your pain! Before a race I eat nothing too wet or bulky, I 'd eat something light but relatively calorie dense like some Soreen malt loaf and pop some immodium literally just before the race, I've not done anything longer than a half marathon but they sure do the trick without, erm, blocking me up either! I…
  • I suffered pretty bad with this last summer and any exercise I did, swimming, biking and even walking caused pain. The only remedy I found was prolonged rest and sports massage. Take it easy if you can bare it or you risk chronic pain :(
  • I just got my Fitbit this week and I'm loving it! I'm a geek for looking at graphs and stats and love that feature of it as well as the motivation to get moving!

  • Ooh is it Law Abiding Citizen?!
  • I could always use some extra motivation! I'm 31 years old and my weight has yo-yo'd dramatically over the years. I got up to 225 pounds at uni and managed to get down to 140 by the time I finished my degree but since moving in with my fella and starting shift work, my weight has crept up to just over the 200 pound mark…
  • Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement guys. As unpleasent as that day was, I guess it was a blessing to end end this cycle of denial I was in. I know what I gotta do now, I got this, Wish me luck! :)
  • I love your arms too!
  • Well done on your weight loss so far and congratulations in making your health a priority! I was in a place a while ago where I passed up invitations because I felt I couldn't and wouldn't disrupt my routine which at the time I felt great about but it became distructive to my social life and after a while I found the…
  • MFP set my goal at 1200 too, I lost weight steadily for the first couple of weeks and then plateaued. My TDEE is around 2200 too and at 5'8" I figured 1200 cals was too low especially as I've started lifting heavy! Raised my goal to 1500, and feel better for it, lost a pound or two too!
  • After reading more posts on here I bought one off ebay today! Hopefully, I'll have enough space. I'm getting the UFC Trainer, Dance Central 2 and Your Shape 2012. Can't wait to try them all out, who of thought I'd be so excited to exercise!
  • Bumping this thread as really interested in hearing some honest feedback about the Kinect! Very tempted to get one, but wanna hear what you all have to say about it first!
  • I have the same problem and it always seem to start with my boyfriend wanting me to help him indulge his fast-food addiction! He's right in that everyone should have some of the food they really enjoy sometimes but he doesn't seem to understand that ploughing through a massive pizza will undo all the hard work I've been…
  • I'm 5'8" and would love to be 140lbs but have only managed it once in my life and not for very long so I think 150lb sounds more achievable and more importantly something I could maintain without suffering!
